RE: SP15 Jun 2015 14:17
I really don't understand the stress regarding the current SP. The board have just stated that they intend to divest the timber. An asset that has a minimum NPV currently of $140m. If the market hasn't yet reacted then so what, take advantage and top up, because you can be damn sure they will. All these shennanigans over sellers, rollovers whatever, will play out soon enough when they declare what it is they intend to do.
If ever a share was screaming out buy me its this one. By all means one should be careful with ones investment choices and this is only my own personal opinion and you should DYOR. But my word, when crystal clear opportunities come along, grab them with both hands becasue they don't come along often.
Divest put simply means revenue. If they sold the timber for just £26.3m, which by the way would lead to shareholder open revolt, that is 10p a share. Ignoring all the other assets, that equates to a near 25% profit on the current SP.
Remember this is a company that has recently been paid nearly £3m by Paragon Diamonds. That alone is nearly 15% of the current valuation.
Add to that the current fruit supply business, the LCS shops, Mama jos, the mango tree plantation, the lesotho cannery. .
