Well once again I feel a lot more confident today than the SP might suggest. Surely if we anticipate a favourable outcome to the FCA report, note that a trading statement is due at the end of the month followed by y/e results at the end of Feb and acknowledge the fact that Big V made a purchase on 1st March at £3.83 making that his 12 month high from that point and do not forget that we have a Columbia banking billionaire holding over 6% - I actually feel pretty positive for a stock that probably shows me a loss of £1 per share. Personally I feel the stars are aligning.

That’s quite a leap B - I have not noticed a RNS from Richmond saying they have reduced - did I miss it?

I would certainly agree to scrap stamp duty on houses costing less than £500k but I would go further and scrap or drastically reduce stamp duty on all homes ( not second or rental property) since the tax has increased the Govt have collected much less money as people are not prepared to pay so instead stay put. Amers I’m sorry but the Labour Party has been highjacked by a Kabul of metropolitan activists who neither understand or respect historic labour voters. They have a 30 year plan for indoctrination that does not seem to include actually gaining power leaving the Tories with opportunity to move into the central ground in a similar way to which Blair stole Tory clothes in the 80’s.

Meaning no disrespect buck but that is because you are generally in the business of trading whilst I am in the business of investing.

Look at your own share purchases buck - I would suggest that if they are anything like mine then we normally pay considerably more stamp duty than £5 and of course nothing for sells then look at the trades in a normal day for shorted shares 100’s or 1000’s of tiny trades, if each one had a £5 charge then they would stop. I for one would be happy to pay the extra £5 (perhaps as a fixed tax charge) for my sells. I realise there is no charge in US but as we already differ from their rules why not make the difference effective?

I fully expect to be shouted down here but could I suggest an increase in stamp duty for shares purchases to a minimum of £5 per trade - good for the economy and destroys the ALGO’s trading a few shares at a time to unfairly influence the market. Great indirect tax to benefit the economy but also a boon for real investors who are scammed by the manipulation of the existing rules.

You are of course quite right buck but in a time where dealers spend many millions to be able to trade 1/10th of a second quicker it seems ridiculous that the rules allow both shorters and holders to have 3 whole days to notify the market - time for reform.

If I was prepared to pay £1.80ish last week with the prospect of a hung parliament I feel I would be crazy not to add at £2 today on the prospects for the economy alone - so I have.

Or you might argue that if Lehman’s had not been ‘let go’ then we may have avoided the crash altogether certainly to the extent we did.

Well if the EU had given Cameron anything like the Brexit deal even including a customs union in the first place we would have grabbed it and not have suffered 3 year of turmoil so in the same vain we should perhaps give Scotland more of the powers that they are seeking to avoid the break up of the Britain - having said that Scotland would struggle to go it alone. Also consider a Hong Kong style future unification of Ireland 20years then it’s gone.

And so it begins. Interesting board changes - anyone want to bet that JB will be appointed executive Chairman or CEO - don’t think you can blame him. Market seem positive.

Ok aw, but I have to raise at least half an eyebrow at an investor that has decided to hold the stock writing posts headed ‘Reasons to be Angry’ but fill your boots - if you come up with something that makes me angry I will sell.

Sorry to harp on about this but even the big institutional investors do have funds that are allowed and indeed specifically set up to buy shares in companies that fall outside the 350 as opposed to Woodford who used their main funds for more speculative investments which resulted in its downfall. There were a lot of significant players present or listening to the H/Y report who seem positive and (hopefully) may be waiting to swoop. aw Funds rarely comment on the SP as perversely it is more down to them than the BoD who’s job it is to run the company.

Thunder although it will have the same affect on the SP we must distinguish between sales that are due to concerns over the company and sales that are due to the internal distress of the shareholder. The constant drip feed is very detrimental and action is needed to take these guys out. As we have noted before the over reaction to the company’s changed modelling (which is now proved to be successful) made us fall out of 250 and perhaps the 350 as others suggest (I have not checked), making it more difficult for funds to invest but there are institutional investors that could be approached and that would be a valuable use of someone’s time. I am increasingly bullish.

Well actually the two TRG Directors will be non independent non executive Directors which means they cannot vote on issues affecting or proposed by TRG. I also note that the agreement evidently allows AMGO to appoint additional independent non executive Directors so the board is becoming bloated but I don’t blame either side for making the appointments. What it does mean is that TRG will have full disclosure at all time’s as to what is going on and can presumably exert more influence. I have added a few more this morning. Director buys?

Yes Thunder but that was before the drop, I think he would be crazy to do that now better to wait for a re rates get the price up and then find a buyer perhaps but not before. I hope we see some Director buys tomorrow as they are now free of the closed period. It’s late, look forward to catching up again after some sleep.

2227 has reminded me just how young this company is and more importantly that all of the options only become exercisable at a price of about 200% of the issue price. JB is not alone in feeling the pain here although to be fair his is in a different league. Surely someone should be taking to funds and brokers to bring on a friendly shareholder to take up the slack brought about by Woodford (and others?)who will surely not stop feeding shares into the market and depressing the SP. AMGO can present a good proposition, this should be an opportunity for someone because if they are not brought by friendlies they will be taken up by activists who will want a seat at the table and will exert their influence. Personally I do not think that JB will be selling any at this price, why would he? As small shareholders I believe we are sitting pretty here whilst the great and the good fight this out. ATB

I thought that you were alluding to something 2227. I notice that he resigned on the 23 April but remained as a consultant until 31st July so he would presumably have been aware of the company’s intention to make an announcement about its business activities in August - I must have misunderstood your comment. I agree that making the substantial purchase following the fall shows great faith in AMGO’s ability to come through this and should indeed give us all confidence.
