Yuri - I certainly agree that this is disappointing. I do feel we are being played but I am willing to forgive and forget if the offer price, when it comes, is strong enough.

Or perhaps if I were in control, negotiating with potential buyers but also willing and able to take the company private it would not be impossible to produce a set of accounts that gave a negative view and included provisions and expenses that can always be reversed post deal?

I was not expecting the hit today but added some more anyway - the game is not over until we get the announcement, my price expectations hold but yes they are making the journey painful.

Guy’s, as has been pointed out I have no idea what will happen next and the market keeps doing odd things that defy logic. Most of my buys have probably been premature although hindsight is marvellous, but with at least 3 potential bidders for this highly profitable business I am now sitting on over 600k shares - make of that what you will. Could be - I just looked at yesterday’s RNS’s and MIC seems to have picked up a further £1m plus shares at 54p

Finally some large buys going into the bell. I have loaded up with quite a few - over 100k shares today and if the market does not react to the news I will be adding more tomorrow. ATB

The only thing that surprises me about the market is that I am constantly surprised by it. We have several which means at least 3 interested parties along with the major shareholder considering taking us private and the SP which is languishing well below even recent highs barely moves. This is the news we were waiting for, the news is good - I am adding. ATB

Johnv - I tend to believe a RNS over chatter if you don’t sell and move on.
Special - If TRG sell then purchaser must make an offer for all remaining shares.

We should be very happy indeed that there are several interested parties - I am confident that we will achieve over £1 even if ultimately this is from TRG taking us private - how much more is anyone’s guess at this stage but if TRG are to exit they will want £2. ATB

It amazes me how many times over a number of shares I end up recommending your posts HH - thanks for making me smile. I expect an RNS tomorrow, Amgo will need to say something to the market.

Been very happy trading this over last few days. The RNS seems to show that one Director used his shares to secure a loan facility and that they were subsequently sold off by the bank - that Director has now been dismissed. Although unclear it does not appear that the other guy is in the same cash strapped and struggling position and I believe his holding will be confirmed. Today’s drop seems like an opportunity so if, like me, you believe the problems have been overstated then, like me, you will be buying in anticipation of the report or at the very least a bump up from here. ATB

Today’s drop has probably taken most of us by surprise. The results may not be quite as good as we may have hoped but they are far from shoddy with the full year profit not dissimilar to our market cap. The market will do what the market does I will hold through the wobble, we are awaiting decision/settlement/dismissal/court proceedings and everything between now an then is just window dressing. Fall is overdone but as I would have been no more likely to sell at 30p or 60p I will hold hard for the main event. Perhaps the BoD will consider the buy back option now - good price to act.

Although I would like that to be true Parfett unfortunately that would only be the case if the person or entity making the offer was also the person that purchased shares at £2.92 last June - I remain confident that this will rally but I doubt we will achieve £2.92.

Again form 8 is a formality which identifies the holdings of Directors together with their options etc. Another stepping stone on the road towards a formal offer/negotiation being under way. The cut off point for interested parties is the 17th so lots will be happening next week. ATB

To to honest I did not think I would get the opportunity to buy back in today but things rarely go in a straight line so I have seized the opportunity below £8 to jump back in. I have checked the comments that have been reported by KKR and they are entirely in keeping with the RNS ‘ KKR said it has not made a proposal nor discussed with NMC the terms of any possible offer.’ I believe they will and we have had formal confirmation of another interested party anyway that is in addition to the concert party led by the suspended director who wants to take NMC private. Worth a punt to me. ATB

Not normally a day trader but I did very well on my trade today (up £15k) and happy to sit back now. I wish you all the very best and will of course try my luck on any unexpected dips.

As NMC have announced that they are the subject of a T/O approach all shareholders holding more that 1% have to publish a 8.3 notice, they will also have to report 8.5 if their position changes. Expect loads of these now.

£7 on Friday before confirmation of approaches - big swings today but I am now very happy to buy. ATB

Positive RNS as evidenced by the jump in SP. Dry stacking of waste must be the future and I am glad that SRB are committed to it. News on sorter also encouraging and will add significantly to the bottom line. Good rise more to come.
