HAPPPY INVESTOR100,The point I was making to the OP was,don't expect the divi to reappear as fast as it went.We have entered a new paradigm in the oil business.There is a reason why the sp v poo is so low.The future is unfolding and by the year end the new direction will be there for all to see.I have a luke warm confidence in the sp reaching £4 this year which in my case still leaves me well underwater.C'est la vie. Baz.

The divi is the new normal, that was stated last year.Extra profit will be used for buybacks .debt payback etc.A cut divi is not money lost, it is diverted elsewhere.The problem with a reduced divi is the some shareholders depended on it (me).
