I have criticised Scorgold over the years and have been given dogs abuse for it but I really thought they had got their act together this time.The now infamous ''gold pour'' was utter stupidity and should have been cancelled.They saved face by having it and lost credibility as well.The throughput was 'negligible', REALLY? or was the gold extraction so poor that they did not want to tell us? The BPT ended up a shambles but at least they claimed it was a practical learning curve.REALLY? well what about this ''The nature of the Cononish ore however is such that it frequently breaks into thin flat "slabs" and at various points in the circuit where there are "pinch point" in chutes etc., '' Did nobody at the time notice this?. The old saying ''an optimist in here is somebody who thinks it cannot get any worse'' works very well here.Where does it go from here? We give them the benefit of the doubt as per usual and hope for good news in March.

Samson,I almost choked on my coffee reading that. I can assure you that the scaffolding pole is a normal and essential piece of kit in mining where chutes are concerned.

How much ore can be stored onsite prior to going through the mill? .there will come a point where underground production will have to grind to a halt until the mill catches up.

We are all assuming that they will give us a gold pour/ production update tomorrow but it is not guaranteed.

It will be common knowledge around Tyndrum what is going on up in the mine.The target for this year is almost 10 000 ozs.so anything less than 500 ozs produced to date would be deemed as disppointing for me. Wow Samson,that was quite a spiel for 1 in the morning.My analogy was made up as I typed it and like all these things they tend to be subjective.,You say that society is now making a collective decision to protect the individual but if there is enough of these individuals then they become society.First time round I thought the lockdown was harsh and unnecessary but now I see it as a necessary stopgap until the vaccine saves the day.The age of the vulnerable has dropped this time round.I know a few people in their 50's who have succumbed to this (old is also subjective).We as a nation are in uncharted waters here and are groping our way through this.On a different note,this virus is showing up the divisions between the devolved parliaments and might hasten the demise of the UK.A certain wee woman who will not be named is using this as a weapon to break Scotland away .Absolutely disgusting IMO.LONG LIVE THE UNION. I am not at odds with you Samson,in fact I agee with you ,I have never ever claimed a penny from the state and I am responsible for my own actions.The internet has caused as much problems as it has solved.People scream and all is heard and has to be fixed right away.Free speech has long gone in this country lest you get blamed as being a ******,fascist etc.Drunk driving would not be an offence if the driver could only kill himself however it impacts on others and therefore is legislated for.Same goes for covid,If it only affected the person then hell mind ye, but that is not the case ,the said person could cause mayhem.Any way enough of this, lets see how SGZ performs nexr week.
