RH my comments are based on my previous life in mining and what is usually done elsewhere.There will be reasons for how they have done it and possibly what is there will be changed in the future,it is after all only my opinion and I am sure they don't need my advice.The collapsible tubes they are using has got to be a short term thing .

Watched it last night and was quite interesting although a wee bit out of date.From a mining point of view I was surprised that the fan was not extraction.Forced ventilation means that the engine fumes are present all the way out of the adit.They have installled soft ventilation pipes which are only good for forced air.If it were me I would drop the fans,take them in to the face and force blow the air out keeping the adit air fresh.But wthfdik.When is episode 2?

That it costs 30% more to process into ''Scottish gold''are going around (correct/wrong?.je ne dinny ken pas) and that it is not worth the bother to do it.If it costs £500/oz to produce then add 30% =£650/oz ie £150 extra.oz to turn into ''Scottish gold''
Taking spot price at approx, £1250/0z then premium would be £375/oz minus £150 = £225 extra per oz .Sounds ok to me.
