Not too suprised, from something like 10% up peak - a little earlier in the day than I would expect. I wonder if we will actually see the famous 168 again over the next couple of days? Anyway, I have a lot of prep work in the new bathroom, I rather do all the filling and smoothing myself. Tradesmen tend to rush it or take far too long. One specific piece of intelligence to take from this, the travel schedule details were available during trading hours. There was of course a response to that - which I profited from.

Then this morning there are even bigger increases. Seems many pis got thier news during the evening, put in buy orders. Perhaps gives an insight into who is trading this, at what levels and reaction times. This is what the iis will be playing with and which I will ride on the coat tails.
If there is a rush of pis going online over lunch time to cash in, then stops will surley be triggered and possibly close the day in the red or very close to? SO, I predict closing price below 180.

Currently out as previously declared, expected profit taking this morning but instead there was a caffine rush to the pi heads. Need another trading day to look for any shake out. I am expecting iis to play the pis for mugs here up to Friday, they have to make up for lost divs somehow and they are very good at playing this game in high volatile swings. Whether the results day or the day before is chosen as the drop point, difficult to tell. I am keeping a very close eye on Jet2. It was very late in the day picking up where the others had taken off, I wonder whether this could go the other way round and fall first.
Re-entry point, not sure until another full day trading I think. Based on this morning, may not even go back in until Mon/Tue next week. But I 'feel' that a re-entry point could be in the low 160s

A sense of humour is very much lacking amongst a number of posters on here. There is no grand conspiracy theory you know, punting a set point to reach which keeps being denied due to a never ending sequence of head slaping events turns into a comedy. I raise an eyebrow of concern at some reactions to a clearly comic post.

Meanwhile, the sp is reaching a level at the moment with in my experience could be the setting for a big fall. pis seem to be running ahead of themselves here. I can't see this momentum continuing throughout the day.

Well I did say today those speculating in the 170 region were correct. It is higher though, but as I saud, with a route out the reaction would be good. We actually got dates which dtive the sp even harder. April 12th new date for the diary. I am tempted to up my earlier predictions now because the road map was so clear and specific which was unexpected. I still think there will be no results drop so my te-entry point will have to be before Friday. However, iis will be playing pis for mugs post budget to the week before April 12th. That date requires some analysis. The May date is to allow holiday booking. Yeah! Good luck finding a flight in May. They will all be gone 2nd half April with full capacity in the summer!!!!!

Thanks daggermal, I'm not supposed to be trading this, but then again it was not supposed to surge like it did, and I caught a bit of jet2 too.
I expect to be back all in by Wednesday/thursday.

I have complained TP that it was a very high risk stratergy not following the manufacture instructions. The big experiment as the rest of the world called it. I did also say I very much hoped it would work. I also hope that the UK stratergy is accepted on vacc passports. Lets hope that there are no long term impacts of delaying the second dose and lets see the rest of the world adopt the UK system. It will only be underwritten when the manufactures issue new doseing regimes and the licensing authorities accept it. For the moment, it sounds good. Keep your fingers crossed it continues to be good.

Blimey, spoke to soon, jet2 caught up and over taken IAG. I said it would be rude to not take profits, so had to cash in IAG. If I end up going back in higher pre-budget, as long as I eventually sell much higher who cares?

Jet2 was the slowest to respond today, but got in at 1232, I think just in time!

I have a bi-polar set up at the moment. My IAG is heading to the north pole, my Dechra to the south pole. One day, I'll get it right lol.

Where is the 8.9b market cap from? At 168 it is 8.3b - see above in fundementals header.

Bull, 20p over a year, it can do that over a month or so now! But as you say, very conservative up to 3pm today.

So the sp would have been around the 251 level, the 5bn is a rough and ready estimate off the graph, the sp was around 135 roughly before the drop, so trading a little ahead of market value on sentiment. Broadly in line with what I think we are seeing today.
