Well my long term prediction a few weeks ago was 250 by April 12th and 300 by year end.

Still very nervous about a sudden large drop when the city cashes in, but seems to have passed all the stops at 220.

So the big question is, where has the level been placed for the big cash in? There are no divs so when else would iis be holding on and stocking up? The iis have profits to make.

Got the trade in iWeb under constant refresh, see if the 220 is an order trigger point or will go through it.

If I bag 5%, but miss out on 20%, as far as I am concerned I am 5% up. Do you look at the highest gainers of the day and see companies you've never heard of with 50% rises and kick yourself, why oh why didn't I invest there? In the same way that that 50% riser means nothing because you had no involvement with them, you should feel the same way about the missed 155 with the ones you were involved with.

It's just numbers, nothing else. You do not get a bonus for being top of the leader board!

This sp is at a level which has many halmarks of a major correction down on it. Jumping back in at this level, I am keeping a close eye on it. It is possible that it will be on a never ending upward trend, but then there is an equal probability the city will cash in, it needs to cover the lack of divs to pay all those pensions. And history has shown me, when a long run of large increases occurs, pis set stops galore and keep moving them up and tighter to the top looking for a maximum exit [greedy buggers]. When the sp turns and the stops are triggered, the cascade can result in rapid and deep sp drops. So I and many others will always be hyper sensitive to red.

Oh, alert just went off for 219.34. So much for putting my feet up and forgetting about the sp for a few days, tut!

and added more, think I'll just sit this out until the March debate now - too much time spent watching the number change a tick or two. Need to get off this day trading again and just respond to alerts. Call me when it is at 220.

Oh dear, RTN not picking up over night, looks like I am shafted there until there is news of restaurants physically reopening.

For IAG, waiting for the 15 min market open window to see, but it looks like overnight orders are 50/50 between buy and sell.

On Monday 15 March, MPs will debate vaccine passports, in response to this petition.

This could be a big news day on vacc passports. The government response to the debate maybe muted or could be an opportunity for announcement. Therefore, week before 15ht March is the 'leak window' and if the debate is a media issue it it will have a significant effect of sp for airline and holiday stocks.

Think I will see if there is an exit first thing, that's a large amount of red.

MAB, 5 year graph is well above 2016 to 2018, peak then trough for 2020, but will it return to pre pandemic 400 level? I think it has recovered well so far, not for me. Therefore, watch it pass 2344 tomorrow at 10:22.

I was only hoping to bag up to 10% quick return on Restaurants. I'm going to ride out the dip and stay locked in - there was some 5 billion announced for hospitality sector, details will emerge so it could still be on the cards a specific targeted initiative for eating out. I just hope the lock in is short lived, after the January lost with IAG. Frustrating locking money up.

Beware the profit takers in the city. They haven't cashed in yet and something in the budget could have been a cover. I am expecting whatever happens to be in a good profit before April 12th, even if there is a big profit take in the interim. Otherwise this does remind me of early ASOS. It jusy don't stop going up.

At lot of 2.5% profits compared to the rare 10%? Do the maths, especially compounding your returns.

Now why did Restaurants go down? Need to dig a bit there as that is IAG money!

Disappointed re Restaurant; I wonder whether there was a disappointment that there was no eat out scheme announced. Might be locked in on that one for a little while now. I was hoping for a Cineworld to release much more for airlines. But the course of true love and all that.......
