""would you rather have enough money to feed your kids or see sanctions remain" I think you know what the answer would be"
For people more interested in maintaining Sky subs, expensive mobile phone subs, beer funds and vaping and betting shops - then think about food for kids then they are beyond help. The exact same problems existed in society before covid, before the fuel price hike, before the inflation, before the war. The main difference is the bleedin hearts on the left have a few more topics to blame a government for rather than addressing root problems. As long as the let continues to present arguments that it is all somebody else's fault the apparent poverty will continue no matter what happens in the economy.
For example, people are getting £150 rebates on council tax at the moment. Do you think the power companies will be reporting huge influx of one off £150 payments as people actually put that cash towards fuel bills? No, there will be exactly the same problem as before, except the local takeaway and bookies will be noticing a sudden up turn in business for a month or two.
