PS Did you all know that out of the 1bn+tradeable shares only 124m+ have voting rights.

That 124m is the number you have to use to calculate your percentage shareholding for declaration purposes.

This ruddy share can move fast without any news at all. It’s down more than 3% going below £11.30 after NYSE opening and looks likely to drop further.

An afterthought BJ - if you write to the President of P & O, Paul wotsisname, as we did after our first cruise after the pandemic, you might get some FCC.

I got a phone call from an “executive correspondence” lady who discussed our comments at some length and, without prompting, offered a more than reasonable discount off our cruise which we are on in July.

I felt impressed enough to say that if things had improved, I would write and say so!

We’ll see!

I had no time to protest as he flew off to the Caribbean for a cruise on RCL ( always with them, he has some special rank and privileges) never incests with them, except in the casino and only has shares in CCL.

K, H & W seem to be struggling under a burden of debt. I though they had resolved this?

Morning RB5. I agree with K. They are ships, though, not boats. You can put a boat on a ship but not vice versa.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see/hear on 27th how much the current and future developments in the ME and elsewhere impact, if at all, their target of investment grade status in 2026. I know K is looking forward to that because it should mean dividends start up again.

PS we enjoyed a week on Iona, much to our surprise as we had always been on the smaller ships previously.
