However, in my view, if Umar wanted to pick up PLT on the cheap, the last thing he would have done is come back to try to turn it round.

I'm actually not that averse to that. I'd prefer one director not two so I'll probably vote for Lennon and against Ashley.

The reason being that Lennon is one step removed from the confrontational approach adopted by Frasers. I can't see how Ashley can work with the current BoD after today's letter

Where I draw the line is the recqusition for a further meeting to remove Kamani.

My personal view is, were that to happen, most of the existing BoD would go, Umar would also walk and we would lose the checks and balances that currently exist
