I stated from when I first joined that I was here primarily for Debenhams. That is still the case. It is worth more than the current market cap of the whole group. A partial spin off would demonstrate this. With the name change this is now less likely, although I'm sure it is being considered as part of the business review. Which is why I now believe that Nastygal will be sold.

As I said I doubt if Sheffield was in head count at the time but I haven't had time to check properly.

But, from a cursory glance at the 2020 results RNS, it would appear that the Sheffield DC was managed by a third party .

I would very much doubt therefore if any Sheffield head count costs would appear in those accounts. So it may be that your comparison is fairly skewed by this
