Companies are valued on their market cap.

Genuinely nonplussed that any investor could say something quite so stupid.

And it's still massively unlikely to go into admin.

That doesn't mean there will necessarily be an sp recovery any time soon.

It could be broken up on the cheap.

That, compared to a lot of shares makes it high risk.

However, if they do turn it round it will be in the pounds.

This is high risk Vs high potential return

The sum of the parts are worth far more than the market cap. But that doesn't mean shareholders will ever see the true value.

I guess it depends how much £20k means to you as portfolio percentage. Personally I've got a couple of percent in here

I've had some good trades the last few weeks and I'm a fairly cr@p daytrader tbh.

I'm not at all convinced said individual owns a single share. Nobody who posts like that would continue to hold. You see them on a few boards. Invariably they only post on the one board, post in an unstintingly negative manner and go out of their way to pick arguments.

Over the last six months and one year time frame the sp is actually up.

So it doesn't fall on a daily basis.

There are a whole bunch of reasons for recent falls.

The placing obviously was a big drag

The spread here is usually ridiculous which puts off traders. Interestingly it is far smaller than normal today.

Mm behaviour. It's hard to know if main market algos just don't work for something as small as GST or if the MMs are playing for their own house rather than the market.

Former directors, as well as the current one, may still be selling.

My view fwiw is that markets are far from perfect and this is one where they keep getting it badly wrong. Whether it's by design I don't know
