With Debenhams brand from what Comms I have seen Dan didn't appear to really have to Market his decisions publicly, just had to make good decisions and steer the brand back into health, which has been done successfully, and off the back of a period of significant cash generation from youth brands.

Debs has a £175m RCF which the CEO has stated isn't even fully drawn down

I can't think of a single company that went bust where financial problems weren't blatantly obvious for many months
