An investment timescale should be three to five years. I think anyone who has bought in the last two years will be well rewarded if they are patient.

There may be a few more months of SC selling. Equally we may be near the stage where an II or fund will take their shares. Once we have income we become investable for the big boys.

The sp frustrates me as much as anyone, it should be much higher. Who knows why it isn't, there are a plethora of potential reasons. I'd guess the main one is because this is AIM and it isn't logical and disconnects exist everywhere.

However I believe there will be a sweet spot where fundamentals shine through and we relate.

Lot of nonsense being posted about SC, so its probably worth looking at the actual figures.

Between June and mid August, where SC sold c200m shares, the overall volume of shares traded was in excess of 3bn

That would imply to me that they are selling in an orderly fashion.

WRT II investment, it wouldnt surprise me if a few small cap funds look at us once exports start.

That would be the time for Suay Chin to sell off book

So let's work an example to see what is really foolish Hexam

Boohoo paid £55m for Debenhams website and IPR. That is the valuation that went in to the balance sheet. It will have been amortised or depreciated down since then, but lets ignore that for now.

The total value of all the brands per the balance sheet is £68m. So £13m more than just the cost price of Debenhams

Top Shop has a market value of £180m, so nearly three times the balance sheet value of all the BOO brands.

So what is foolish is to even pretend that the balance sheet asset value gives even a slight approximation of real world net assets

So let's be clear Hexam you are saying that the real world value of all the brands is less than the cost price of Debenhams and the former Arcadia brands
