I believe PLT will be sold. The business review has simply been going on for too long to still be at the first stage, unless another asset sale has fallen through.

There is a fixed charge over the Burnley warehouse, so making the staff redundant, unless there is an alternative tenant lined up for the site would seem to make little sense.

So just to reiterate, there is no evidence anywhere to support the contention that Umar is receiving payments in excess of £2m annually.

Yet posters here continually refer to the £2m that Umar has been paid.

The only actual evidence we have is no payment whatsoever to Umar FY25 and £500k in FY25.

This is nothing like the story that Frasers promoted.

Frasers chose to produce an open letter thereby giving credence and publicity to a statement that they didn't know to be true.

We now know that the statement isn't true. As kachrafilter stated Umar received nothing in FY24 and £500k in FY25. By definition he isn't receiving payments in excess of £2m annually.

All of the potential hypotheticals you put forward do not take away from this simple fact.

They are quite simply wish statements.

Frasers lied and too many people wish to keep repeating that lie.

You are right in that everything that can be said has now been said so hopefully nobody now will repeat the nonsense that Umar was paid £2m
