Another slow day in terms of volumes. Maybe the auto trade machines are shut for repairs.

Bounty, I appreciate your point that you need to spend money to make money. But lets not forget that one of those acquisitions was a recent sale. (RRDSL). So it's one thing to spend money acquiring useful assets but this same BOD had only decided about 18 months ago that one of those assets was a drag on this companies balance sheet and it would be better to have the cash from selling it and rent assets instead. To me that kind of indecision would be of some concern. Even if its simply from a point of lost fees in the buying and selling process.

Seems to be a really low volume day. Barely a blip around that RNS. Last Monday with a much lower value RNS we hit 3million in terms of volume. More than half the day gone today and a much bigger value RNS and it's stuggling to get over 1million. I wonder if there are bigger market issues absorbing peoples time and this has not really registered. EU/UK announcement causing an uplift for the pound, which will actually be worse for anyone collecting the dividend.

Good move only if. Hope you got your buy in price. I had no clue about which way this would go today. I'm not trading this share at the moment so happy to sit and wait. But glad you have a more comfortable holding.

I suppose it depends on your view of performance. 3 weeks ago the support level was 400 and it was bouncing between 400-425. Then we moved into a range of 430-450. If the new range is 470-500 then we have progressed quite some way since eoy results. To me it's still finding its range not sure were the top and bottom is yet.

Well I'm thinking a blue finish today. 490. Just feeling positive.

Pretty poor day for this share. Oil was down so expected a drop but thought 485 would have been a fair reflection. This got shafted at the end of the day. Maybe a few profit taking. Still the support level seems to have move a huge amount in the last 3 weeks. As always invest for the long term not day to day.

ifonly1 That's a substantial wad of money. All I can say is that for my investment I'm looking at a 3-4 year time frame so the day to day ups and downs do not impact me so much. I'm fairly positive this will be over 500 again, whether it's a day or weeks or months????

Not true. Pfc moves with oil, but it is not 100% mirrored. The moves on Friday Monday today all mirror oil quite closely. If this dropped 5% then I'd say there is more to it than just oil prices

Oil might not be getting a kicking. But on Friday it jumped +3%. It has now lost all those gains. Pfc has just followed that move.

What's up

Oil back to were it was pre the Friday jump. Holding steady is a pretty good result given that backdrop. A penny either side of 500 makes little difference unless you have a massive holding.

The dividend would be well above 3.5%. Its all dependant on your view, but for me this is undervalued and there is a lot of capital growth potential. I'm thinking more like £6-£7 by the end of the year if debt reduction continues and the dividend grows in line with the SP. You have to remember even if you are buying for the dividend, the SP reflects future dividends, the current dividend is more reflective of the share over the last 12. Months.

Struggling to break £5. Maybe a few auto sells set for £5?

I think he is, but given that Oil jumped 3% and the DOW was up after the FTSE closed on Friday, its a fair assumption to make. PFC has been growing over the last few weeks as Oil has been falling, so you would imagine that an improved Oil Price will only help sentiment for PFC be boosted further. The big question for me is at what price will the shorts start to close out. The big shorts have been reducing for a while, but their break even price is anyones guess.
