The real people who should get you wrath are the BoD and the Government.
The Government have used barc for a cash cow, Fines, ppi and Tax.
The BoD, now lets see, the now not so new ceo "kitchen sinked " barc`s on his arrival. Basically cutting the divi by half. Oh what a surprise. Of coarse there was no corresponding reduction in the directors / top managements bonus. Basically throwing the scraps from the table for us share holders to squabble over.
So please turn your anger on the suited legalized thieves at the top. It is them who have produced a decade of dross. Not you.

Will "kitchen sink" BT like the CEO at Barclays did. And like Barclays he will cut divi by at least half and like Barclays he will leave bonuses untouched. All for the good of the company of course. I only hope BT does not follow the barc`s path and produce absolute cr4p for the next five years. Not convinced Patterson going is a good thing.

We should start searching for hidden causes of BT`s drop. Pension is an easy reason but the constant and prolonged assault by ofcom needs scrutinizing. I would like to know how many MP`s or ex MP`s are on the boards of Sky, Voda, Talk Talk, and ofcom etc. Sky have had a monopoly of satellite for decades. Why have Gov / ofcom not stepped in here? Why does Patterson not come out fighting, First threat to move HQ to France or even I.O.M. Massively reduce corporate tax burden ( the only way to make gov sit up ) Any benefits that BT generate make sure H M Gov receive nothing. If BT is going down at least go down fighting. Without doubt its a bad debt and a worry. My point is its not payable now or all at once as a bank loan. When they get it under control it won`t attract interest. But see what you are thinking.

In the USA they bring corporate actions against the big boys. Perhaps its time BT share holders did the same against OFCOM, stating the constant, tunnel vision, assault on BT whilst favouring Sky, Voda, etc.

If you want this share to be around �1 then cut the divi. This then hits BT pensioners and holders alike. Loss of pension top up,loss of SP value. Did cutting divi help Lloyds or Barclays? No. Both still bad ten years later after crash. Is that what you want? Not me.

And counting. This bank like other banks is really the pits. The Governments of the USA ,UK, and the BoD see banks as their own cash cow to be raided at will. Morning Aus. On its way to next divi date I think �3 is in reach. Pension resolution and Mrs White ,the fog horn of Sky,voda, Virgin or whoever to remain quiet would also help. Patience needed and keep enjoying the divi. Out again now but will look in later. Good hunting.
