Well I am going to invest all my BT dividend back in to BT as this beautiful company goes from strength to strength. And it will be bought way under Rod the Wally's buy in price, £5+. Well done Alison, keep up the good work along with all those hard working BT engineers.

Look at past year SP. After divi last year SP hovered between220p and 230p. This year around the 250p mark. Perhaps the buyback is having a slow and small impact as supply and demand take effect, IMHO. GL.

Well Fleccy for the first time ever I respectfully disagree with your summary of RR. It has a new aggressive CEO, stopped spending on non essential items and stopped selling engines at a loss. Brought forward a new engine design that will set it well for future and looks likely to rejoin narrow bodied aircraft. Behind the scenes it has altered massively from "burning platform" to striving success . And don`t forget SMR,s. Massive change of direction IMHO.

Candid, please sit back and have a reality check. Do you really think the Gov would allow BT into foreign ownership? Look at the Telegraph news paper and its problematic sale. I just can not see anyone being allowed to take over 51% of control of BT.

David Brent, I follow a very similar pattern/ time line. usually pocket first divi invest second divi in LGEN. Share buybacks should also gradually help SP.

Well David it has not taken off .. yet. However the upside of that is buying cheap and enjoying near 10% yield. Unless you don`t like the divi?

I think its long over due a substantial rise, reasoning-

Interest rates are falling soon to be mirroring inflation. Money in bank will again become stagnant and taxed outside an ISA. So people seeking wealth increase will look for alternatives -shares in a ISA paying good divi, LGEN.

The company are slowly reducing shares in circulation- supply and demand again pushing SP north.

Well run, a proven CEO, who has a knack of making money.

And most important a good divi, with a good cash surplus and well covered.

No skeletons in the cupboard that I can find. No head wind. Lgen reaps rewards for me with a near 10% yield. This is why I think its long overdue a £3+ rise and staying there. Only my thoughts GL all.

BTBilly, I hold these for divi also. Along with LGEN which pay near 10%. Banks are nowhere near.
