Have you heard about the covid pandemic? Have you paid attention to the very nasty war in Ukraine? How are these the Tory governments fault having originated in China and Russia? Infact how are they any British gov,s fault?

My experience with EE may have been a one-off. It took 50 minutes to talk to someone at EE. Their multichoice went on for ever. "Lines very busy". BT answered in 2 minutes. I do have plus net also who are fine.

My own recent experience with BT call centre was excellent. EE however are dreadful, I switched back to BT mobile within days.

When I was 25 I had the chance to emigrate to the USA. I stayed. A mistake. In the USA hard work, bettering yourself is encouraged not looked at with green eyes. This country has become TAX mad. Pay to much tax = why work hard. I do not blame any young of this country leaving its shores. Staying means becoming cash cows for various incompetent governments ( And paying for the bastion of all things truthful- the BBC). Council tax, VAT, fuel ,gas, electricity costs have become unsustainable. Public sector unions attacking the country while its down I find disgraceful along with 19% pay demands.
Must stop watching the news, it saps any good feelings I have to this country ATM.

Work hard, do shifts, work overtime = Government plundering your wages.
Save for 40+ years, pay into a private pension= government will plunder your savings/pension before and after death.
The peeps on here who think "tax the wealthy" are deluded. Governments will not stop at the wealthy. They will target everyone, the middle classes AND lower classes. Your savings , property , in fact anything of value become fair game.
So stop encouraging any taxation, it will hurt us all. Or perhaps not. The wealthy will leave these shores so who pays then?

Morning guys, I think you are being a touch unkind to Fleccy. I do not think he has a bad bone in his body. His constant "Ramping" can also be viewed as trying to reassure people on here who are like me nursing losses. Don`t forget also whatever we scribe here will not make a bit of change to SP.

These 10% pay hikes will only lead to higher taxes, more inflation. Young gifted people leaving the country due to born free, taxed in life, taxed to death, taxed after death.
Just seen three union baron's on Sky news. If there is ever a reason to emigrate then these three are near the top. Where do they think money comes from.? All I see now are more stealth taxes, more plundering of pensions. The young and ambitious should look to other countries where hard work is rewarded not stolen.

My own take on inflation and its causes are mainly fuel. High fuel costs cause increase in fertilizers, animal feeds, transport costs, and industrial manufacturing. These cause shortages, lower production , which in turn reduces supply hence higher prices or inflation.
