Fleccy, I don`t see a time when BT will ever be free of OFCOM. They will just find another reason to shackle BT. Justifies the sad persons at OFCOM their existence. Eg, nobody else to whip.

I do actually think RR has a very long, sustainable and successful future. Because of Russia defence work will over time increase,( air, land and sea ) especially when the countries finances are back on track. SMR`s will have some RR involvement though Im worried about this due to our short term narrow backed MP`s. ( Disgrace). Flight numbers will eventually surpass 2019 figures and RR is ready to benefit. I realise from your posts you have a bit of a downer on RR atm. But patience needed there. I have seen it all before- RR on its knees 80-90s, 9/11, financial crash, Gordon Browns pension s raid, Trent 1000 problems, covid and Ukraine. All these problems gave me a buying opportunity which I took advantage of. ( Not enough). At below a £ they were a gift and still cheap now imho. With dilution £3 to £4 is my target and doable. Patience needed again.

The only problem RR faces that is a real worry is the government. Will they back Britain and RR, don't hold your breath.

Sleazy jet have mostly 737 craft I think. RR do not supply an engine for this aircraft. Long-haul getting back to normal. Im surprised anyone still listens to the slanted lying opinionated hypocritical two faced BBC .

Lost faith here and now invested more in LGEN. More jam tomorrow hasn't washed for five years now. I have held from the time of the crash and see no improvement in LLOY since that time. Life is not a dummy run and years following LLOY have proved a poor choice. Time to abandon ship IMHO. GL holders/ sufferers of Lloyds.

Look at RR share history and you will see a cycle develop. After 9/11 they dropped to 69p. After five + years SP went on as high as £12. RR seem to have a 8-10 year cycle and imho they have hit a low last year and now are on the steady climb (5 Years).

With dilution SP will not hit recent highs again but I think £4-5 in five years with divi reintroduced is quite do-able.

Patience needed and good news re- SMR`s. The only fly in the ointment is the UK GOV. We will see.

I worked with a lot of Scottish people in England. Some became friends and I still enjoy a beer with them. Most do not want to break up one of the best partnerships that has ever been. Would not bother me if Britain was governed from Scotland as we all vote for an MP rep. What can I do that you can`t?

I don`t understand why Scotland wants independence only to give up your independence to the greedy EU.
