Badland, one of the things that has always dropped the SP is orders for engines. This is because RR has to spend ten`s of millions when it gets a large order on materials and man hours before it sell a single engine. It then has to wait for that engine to start generating revenue. Up to two years down the line. The millions spent devalues the company hence SP drop at point of order. My take on it anyway as I've noticed this phenomenon before.

Just when I think my share knowledge is improving LGEN stumps me. With a divi approaching 20p / share why on earth is this not trading around £5 ? Lgen looks very well run, is a good steady performer, can not find any skeletons in cupboards and paid a divi throughout pandemic. What's not to like? So why only 233p / share? beats me.

Don`t know why interest rates are rising. They usually rise to cool the economy but its not overheating due to Government stealing everything it can in any way it can.

RE- Britishvolt- I am not yet convinced that electric cars will be the future. Friends who own them say they get distance as low as 110 miles per charge now winter is here. Charging is costly and time consuming. useless if you are planning a long journey. Infrastructure is not there yet neither charging capacity. I feel we are going backwards and walking into a nightmare. Our BBC lead dash for zero carbon will make Britain very uncompetitive and unprotected because we can not afford an army. No, not convinced by the dash for electric and behind the scenes perhaps the UK GOV agrees hence not backing Britishvolt. RR research into hydrogen is needed.
