BRH have sold a part of their share in Autins Group

Just an opinion too: it's worth noting the share placings and sells by the Chairman and his family over the last 12 months - they do explain the price movements if you put 2 and 2 together.
Lots of attention has been placed in just one element of BRH's portfolio and that's the Paraytec COVID test - whether or not its ever going to deliver or whether it's now missed the boat are points of debate. In theory it could be really lucrative, but in practice it still hasn't been realised as we emerge from Omicron.

That's at least 2 of us who have done the maths and think a significant re-rate is on the cards MB10 :-)

I bought two tranches of shares within a minute of each other at exactly the same price - yet one shows as a buy and one shows as a sell - go figure.

Good to see the ticket sales in black and white, the update on other commercial revenues should be fun :-)

Sorry you feel I'm literally putting everybody down, that's not my intention. Indeed you made a meaningful post yesterday I made a point of wholeheartedly agreeing with.
I do like to correct what I think is blind ramping or false info - this is a throwback to this MB back in the middle of 2021 when shameless evangelical rampers here ruled the roost and look what happened.
I do generally make money on the markets but this one has been a loser (and I believe a loser for all of us) - it's this kind of experience that teaches us more than the victories and I don't want to see false hope given which fools new investors - I just feel we should face up to where we are.
As you know I do still have hope I can escape at some point this year but I need just over 40p. And, yes, I have no faith in TB at the moment - I want to see real news and progress.

Another very large and very late trade reported after hours.
I had to have a gander back into the last 2 days to see what the prevailing spread was at the time of the transactions.
The big trade reported yesterday was definitely on the buy side of the spread at the reported time, today's massive trade was on the sell side of the spread at the reported time.
I'm curious why such large trades crystallise on the system so late.

I think Hulltiger is correct. They are block sells, I expect there will have to be a RNS soon as somebody has offloaded more. Don't be sucked in to the buy/sell flag Chavitravi.

some relevant facts:
When BRH paid a significant dividend 12 months ago the share price went up massively, before that dividend announcement the share price wasn't far from where it is now. The Chairman TB had a large shareholding and benefitted greatly from the payout.
TB then sold his shares over the late spring/early summer which spooked the share price right down again, because we all believed there was massive news coming on the COVID test.
He then awarded himself another 25% of the companies share capital at the price of 18p in a closed placing - apparently to fund the manufacture of this test in house or bring it to market.
The company has spent 12 months hinting and tempting PI's with the hope of a world beating COVID test which has not materialised.
The end result is the price action we have seen over the last 12 months.

Well at least you have a plan Scoter - I respect that.
I've pinned my colours to the mast already: I believe at some point this year we'll get some news on Phasefocus that will lead to a dividend or a spike in price and I'll escape at 40p. I'm now doubting this as I see the value drain away but because this has become an appendix to my main portfolio I'm using the bottom drawer for these now - my failing is that I don't want to crystallise a loss! I bet I'm not alone.

The "For Sale" signs going up and all the Israeli buy in speculation makes AFN a really interesting story.
Of course it underwrites the value of OBC as mentioned previously.

This needs a solid RNS - not just any old RNS either but one with real figures and commercial output so LTH's and potential investors can see the goal.

Ticket sales should provide a good update at the same time.

I'm not sure that the £0.7M figure covers all the indirect cost elements, it's effectively a gross margin - I'm also a bit sceptical about using a P/E of x20 as well....
But - for the sake of the argument if I accepted that accounting figure from the report as correct and we also accept a P/E of x20, then you get a value at the top end of my estimate at £14M.
I'm still not seeing the £30M - even if I accept that nominally in 2019 there was an EBITDA reported.
You can't factor in operating cost cuts as these were interdependent with reduced activity and revenue - if the activity had hit target then they wouldn't have cut the operating costs - you can't have both IMO.

You are right Knigel. I am building my expectations on the basis that either a sale of business or big K-Pop revenue in May will ensure no further cash raises are required and the balance sheet can be cleared. Then the maths works as I hope.
If we do see yet more raises then there's a risk of further 3p stagnation until further notice as PI sentiment is well and truly slippered, regardless of fair value.
In the mean time because of the past placings I expect a little bit of resistance to us getting from here to 5p and then much more volatility past that mark as so many shares were purchased for that amount.
