RE: Silverking Project Commencement of Drilling14 Mar 2025 10:22
100% it was Steve4077.
And tbh he sold out at 2.3p and saved a lot by saving at that point. He also may not have been wrong and was proved right, to some extent, by later studies. BR isn't economical in its current form and needs either higher copper prices or more definition to be a real asset.
The issue mainly was in the way he communicated that. His approach was atrocious and didn't help anyone.
I do want to clarify something here though. The bashing (if we want to call it that) was entirely self inflicted. Colin made several statements either in podcasts (wouldn't accept 10p) or we have 2m Tonnes (investor face to face meeting - I believe there is a recording) that he could not back up. Subsequently, the share price has dropped. The frustration here with erroneous and overly-ambitious forward looking statements by the CEO was entirely justified. We should remember that when looking favourably at possible comments in upcoming podcasts etc.
However, that being said, there is a lot of potential here and Colin loves a drilling season accompanied by multiple RNS updates. He has previous in Zambia too. So although history tells us to be wary of his comments, there is also scope for some positivity.
Hopefully the above comment is balanced and I'm sure Jez, NtM, Andrew etc. Will concur.
