Cornish...'many if not most consumers will be buying on price not accuracy'....I agree they will be buying on price in most cases but I think they will be assuming all LFTs being sold will be accurate and all doing the same job. It's only we investors who understand this not to be the case.
Having spoken to many about LFTs they don't understand the fact they don't work for low viral low period and so you can have Covid for several days before a test might pick it up and some tests may take longer than others. It's the same with vaccinations...so many assume they're now safe and can't catch Covid.
It's not about lack of education on the subjects, it's about people's denial...they will simply dismiss or not entertain any parts they simply don't want to hear...
For the life of Riley how can any Govt Dept justify approving Turkish tests over Avacta/Medusa unless it's about volumes and price or bad feelings or pounds in pockets or politics or our new technology not being understood/a reference point on the pen pushers box checking list....

I suggest you get onto your MPs to find out if they can demand samples of the NU variant be prioritised for companies like Avacta and to also prioritise the HUA desk top evaluations too...the matter is too urgent now to be ignored...

If you don't look for something you won't find it...there's a good chance it's already in the UK and hasn't been detected by useless Chinese LFTs...it only took 3 weeks for the Delta variant once they started looking for it to be found in 53 countries.
We have to stop travel via third countries. Many of the people stranded in the Red countries are simply travelling to one or more other countries to then get back into the UK...
Now is the time to tell everyone in the World they need to relocate to their place of residence by a set date...lay on military aircraft etc if needed and after a set deadline ALL travel stops...no more travel outside ones own country etc etc...
The idea of maintaining holiday travel is ridiculous...its not necessary...

13th...no they won't...I emailed them with details of the brochure (twitter link) and pointed out the typo...no response whatsoever.

BTW..Mologic has also not updated their website since the acquisition...gone dark somewhat...is that something to worry about...No! Acquisitions sometimes take months to sort out and they may just want to relaunch it under the new ownership...and/or maybe they're under an NDA too..who knows eh!!

Re the Avacta LFT they are ready to go…just waiting green light for home use…no manufacturing problems…very frustrated as there is huge worldwide demand. As soon as HUA given and they get the green light to sell it, it will be sold through their website only and shipped direct UK wide as they do with their saliva test.
Currently Avacta LFT only being sold and available within NHS sites (hospitals etc that have ordered it) for professional use only.
He did say there was a lot of bureaucracy and volume of products involved in the testing process...

Have just trademarked MeduFlow and attended an extremely large medical expo in Germany.
Having attended/exhibited at many large expos, brochures are essential and we always produced show specific/product launch literature for said shows and mistakes were often made. Swap v swab as a typo made by an outsourced publisher missed in proof reading is possible. The content and graphics is what you should focus on and whether or not a fake knock up would have included same...personally I don't think so...I think more might have been used from Avacta presentation slides and not so much background union Jack usage...the odd flag but not do much background.
According to their staff LinkedIn profiles they too are live and kicking.
I'm not sure why Medusa stopped updating their Web page and twitter account but this doesn't mean they're dead it just means a decision was made not to do so. It could easily be linked to a NDA or simply at this point there is nothing to add. There are many reasons why companies appear to go dark when you search the Internet but in fact they really haven't.
As far as we know the Medusa guys are still shareholders of Avacta.
A few weeks ago I spoke to a very nice chap at Medusa...info posted on here.

Don't be too surprised if we drift back down on no news today/next week. We've been here before with sharp rise mid Sept and mid Oct and both times it slid back down.
We need HUA and sales to commence via Medusa to keep this baby on the move upwards...

The Chinese have been making them and supplying them for years so they were already well geared up and probably had all the right connections too in our various Govt purchasing and testing depth.
