I also believe that if you are one of the investors who are selling currently that if you hold opti you should also sell them right now as well.
This is because the value of OPTI is part because of the stock it holds in this company, and if we have underwhelming news it does tend to affect that price later on as its digested.
Just my view.

Yes we have in the past exchanged bad words, and agree with your comment that investors should stick together for common goals. I'm sorry for anyone I've offended on either side of any viewpoints.
I did not know about the names you have posted that investors hide behind. Could certainly explain why another investor jumped in so quickly to try and aid him during a recent conversation of opposing opinions.
Its a fact that as the price drops it becomes increasingly attractive, even if sales are some way off. I actually agree with you that this stock will "come good in time".

I dont actually think truck loading is an option. Yes to supply any local distillation unit or fill up some tank somewhere, that would make sense, but anything significant used to truck to the port in Turkey and that's no longer an option. Plus they have a choice of producers currently.

Bagdad has won the case, pride and all important face has been restored. Both sides want to settle and get the oil flowing. They worked well together during the ISIS conflict, and both sides are expressing similar viewpoints.

Now I expect they will be magnanimous having won the case, because they are fellow countrymen and often that's how the Arabs conduct business, and they both need the money.
Actually wouldn't be surprised to see the taps opening again within a couple of days.

Woudnt be surprised not to see any money changing hands, better to work off that debt by offering subsidised services for a period...Another reason to restart the flow they stopped.

You have hit the nail squarely on the head.
When the dust settles, Oilers operating in Kurdistan will be in a more stronger position and will attract more institutional international investment. Currently not happening as much as it should as fear of being blacked from other Iraqi contracts. All this will now go away with full legal agreement. In addition we wont just be selling crude at heavy discount to however wants to chance the wrath and legal challenges from SOMO, so will in effect get international prices and no backhanders or sweet deals.
I can see this resulting into a high share price for our company.

It does make it more appealing to an investor right now, as agreement and we already have both sides saying each side wants and indeed needs it, will actually make our company much stronger and secure.
Having a overdone dip today is not something to complain about, I believe its a situation to enable shrewd investors right now to take advantage of.

I think the bigger drop for GKP is because there are more smaller investors with GKP, that data shows drop was twice as much in percentage terms than its peers with exactly the same conditions.

All indications are this will be a short lived stoppage. Some investors hoping for a 30-40% drop today, ad I feel they are wildly over the mark, although we will soon see. Anything even halfway approaching that and I'll be buying for sure and dry gunpowder now primed.

Yes know what they have previously stated but I'd expect "grandfather rights", to continue as previously agreed and the oil companies who took all the drilling risk to continue to operate. I dont think it will be "carage", although some are clearly hoping for some for a re entry positio.

In a strange way this could really turn out to be very highly positive for our company. For years they have been squabbling over the oil issue with both sides firmly believing that they are right , and the the KRG tribal side trying to wheedle out more than contract agreement be it through extortionate transport costs, delays in payment, and quite a few reported cases of clear theft.
Now one side has clearly won, which is the larger more international side, these type of practices will have to stop or be accounted for. Both side know it, and why both have been trying to gain control. However both sides have to work together now and quickly as they have so much to lose. Indeed their biggest income stream, and the KRG now holds a loosing hand and they know it.

Then if you think an agreement will be reached it could well have the complete opposite effect, that is pushing up the share price to new highs. Just have to get over a "hump of pain" in the interim.

I would view this in the longer term and not get hung up that its all gloom and doom. Take advantage of the situation or any price dips, reason is we are talking 450K BOPD or 252M $ per week based on Brent at 80$.
I'd be concerned if they were exporting just our oil so could live with its loss, but that kind of income lost certainly concentrates the mind somewhat to come to agreement. I'd be surprised if its not resolved in a couple of weeks.. Might even increase global crude prices as its a decent loss to markets.

Just going to have to toe the line, if we were to see anything like that kind of drop I'll certainly be filling my boots. Wonderful opportunity
