RE: Once again ready to go10 Dec 2024 18:06
Hi Clio, exactly why I asked the question about retinol and the EU directive, not sure many clearly heard the question but I made it general asking roughly what number of customers might have to reformulate. The EU once it dislikes certain products like retinol, firstly reduces concentrations , then often stops it completely once knows that its non-desirable. Suppliers and Croda know this.
So its not going to be a case whether clients want to reformulate...its one that they have too, and ours is the better and only alternative on the market currently, and its going to be pushed hard by Croda starting already and by launch day.
Also told us royalties will not be a trickle.
however alluded that orders might become "a tidal wave".
I actually think they just don't know on orders, certainly gearing up to supply a lot.
What we need is our own testing data, because if it performs better than retinol on Crodas testing data and released in April , that will trigger that tsunami of sales.
Can you recall a few years ago that data was fairly open to investors here on our own testing with Cath , and I do seem to recall statements saying that results were extremely good then. I actually believe from a Croda point of view it will be a very easy product to sell, in serious quantities.
Can any other longer term holder recall comments or particulars from our own tests.
