Seems this company can only keep the lights on by selling the family silver in this case sbtx stock.

Shame SOH wonts share out these shares to current opti holders then at least we will have shares in a company run by someone competent. I'd like to see a reverse takeover and we'll give SOH his gold watch.

I expected to see a bigger retrace today as profits taken at this point, but it does seem the buying pressure is most certainly there pushing prices steadily higher.

With all stocks s easy to let the hopes that failed to materialise blight judgement. I believe nearly all aim stocks tend to have a few rosy characters that cant let the past go and move on, like a tortured graveyard ghoul, some have nothing better to do but post negativity all hrs and I actually feel really sorry for them.

Its not my first rodeo, so I wont be cashing out for a penny and leaving a multibagger for the next trader along.

No problem with a little patience blanchflower, I was intending to offload on first news anyway. Decent real estate as short as hens teeth. When news is finally announced and should be this year I do expect some pretty seismic shockwaves. Firstly a reasonable jump which will get sold into, then a very short period of calm as new investors hearing the news do their own diligence and suddenly come to the conclusion on the true value of an unspoilt virgin headland in a stunning location.

All bets are off after that.

We are seeing some excellent gains over the last few trading sessions with many expecting this stock to rise well into the twenties when new Croda cashflow also starts this year. I know many investors here hold both OPTI and SBTX, and there are many signs that many view this stock as the better option so have been selling OPTI and buying SBTX.

However as our shareprice continues to rise and the OPTI one falls (and yep we know it does have other issues), the 24M shares that OPTI hold in SBTX become more valuable. OPTI m/cap is barely 11M and at 20p here represents almost 5M of that cap, and at 42p all of it??? Worth a thought.

I believe the current rush of money from OPTI into SBTX is well overdone because with the changes in M/cap it makes opti pretty close to 10M m/cap with 5M worth of SBTX stock which is highly likely to rise.

The market is seeing a revaluation of this stock. Strong signs of traders climbing on board alerted by the recent gains. Does drive the price forward, however I am expecting that retrace sometime as well.

Yep has been a stock squeeze, i dont think this will be anything compared to the squeeze if the right news is released.

I'm hoping with you for decent sales, and some solid royalties. One thing I do struggle with is that Croda have a long list of company acquisitions couple with a very respectable remaining war chest. Our company portfolio would sit nicely with them and our market cap although growing nicely is still small in the scheme of things.

So if I was on the Croda board discussing the way forward, one of the first things I'd be asking is whether we could produce something similar ourselves, the second thing if that looked really difficult (and more probably time consuming), is just how much of our sales we were likely to have to pay in royalties going forward, and would a buyout be cheaper in the long run.

I would have probably started looking for a copycat a while back regardless, just keep the info in house but try to delay our production a bit, to prevent our market cap from rising that much. But if no easy substitute found and it appeared royalties might be high I'd start looking at the second option.

So I don't believe a Croda T/over is off the table, if Crodas customers really want our product, and they havn't got a substitute this will swing the pendulum back towards takeover.

Appreciate the updates on the stock. Can only guess that a holder needed some cash, so at managed to exit with a little. Not sure whether you can do a T20 with this stock as that might be the answer.

We do often see some strange trades that peeps do thinking it was just a quick spike up so sold without due diligence. Might be kicking themselves in a few more sessions.

Pleased for you Oleric, as I know you lost money a while back on here. I'm actually here also half by luck than skill, having spotted the sudden "acrimonious divorce", offloading and actually did some serious btm fishing thinking more of a short term play. Knew potential for company to make an acquisition, but thought it might drag like like last one. So it was just good fortune when it was announced later that week, so has become a hold rather than a short term trade.

However I'm not wearing rosy glasses, but expecting small royalties from Croda initially. Its how our product is viewed by Croda customers which I'm interested in most. Wouldn't I like to be the fly on the wall with those discussions. However they do have such a large customer base, that even if its still a small percentage take up, its still significant.

Looks like the bid is being raised to tempt sellers, they clearly need stock.

Trades above the ask, guess thats pointing to the stock going north unless the price will tempt someone to release stock.

Clearly not a time to sell, a strong start to the week. All important confidence has currently returned with this stock, but it is a fickle beast.

Just being the third highest riser will attract scrutiny from potentially new investors this weekend

You just cant get decent real estate on Greek Islands anymore, for near on any price, especially unspoilt locations

I think a lot of the traders or investors which also trade a separate pot have sold. This is because most will normally operate on 10/20 % margins or uplift, and we are way past that threshold.

That was the resistance we saw at the 13-14p range. I do know of two guys who fall into this category who also did some selling around this price point. However that stock has gone into safer hands who might be looking for a lot more return.

I believe we are going to see a faster rise now as stock dries up and the only way to tempt sellers is to raise the price.

If we were employees of Croda, or even its customers and you had either reviewed our product samples positively or knew you were going to put in orders for it wouldn't we buy stock in the company that in effect owns the product.

Wouldn't take long to track us down, read some of the reports and coupled with that experience from within the industry decide to buy here generously. Then tell trusted friends and fellow investors about the opportunity.

Just pointing out ways we might well see new investors and money coming into this stock.

Even a potential sceptic like myself, who tends to err on the side of caution, has nothing to sell currently.

I think we might see a stock squeeze soon, as I expect we have a lot of trapped bulls here looking for a decent return, or new investors looking to multibag.
