One thing is for sure , that David is a very shrewd and successful investor with vision, and its often a good tactic to emulate such investors.

If in Croda's shoes and want us, I'd approach SOH first to see if he would sell his holding, would be a good start.

David has a total of 950K warrants. he has exercised £350,000 worth so has exercised part of his holding. This gives him an extra 3.2M shares.

He didn't have to do it.. You cant sell Warrants but you can sell stock, at a nice 100% profit.

Only other reasons might be to give the company money which is unlikely or wants the additional votes that shares give..

I would take a differing approach, regardless of what a nice chap David is, and positive spin put on the part warrant issue, and debt company reduction in that he wants to offload some stock.

Otherwise whats the point of part exercising the warrants which are worth just shy of 10p for stock worth double that.

I doubt its just to give our company some cash.

Could well be that brokers are already lined up and responsible for the selling we are seeing right now, so an order from a trusted client is being worked already.

Sun cream would be an excellent market because only a small additive of lysate improves the skin by tightening the junctions and making it look better and indeed it is better.

As we know its used in many countries as a base blocker for all UV like Australia where its manufactured in bulk and sold cheaply and is compulsory for school kids. What we use it for for is to prevent holiday sun burning while you get a bit of a tan. Our lysate improving the skin appearance and reducing water loss at the same time would really be an ideal market, and the water loss reduction due to skin tightening perfect in helping combat dehydration so in effect making you more healthy.

I can see this going a lot higher than £3. The very painful re structuring plans which caused big reductions in staffing and branch closures have saved a great deal of money.

This stock is really starting to generate a lot of money, the buyback cost is not small beer, although I accept they have a great deal of stock. Will the banks start lending to EU countries to re arm towards 5% is a question yet to be answered.

One camp saying its to keep everything hidden from the competition, the other pointing out that's its a very convenient way of hiding information and not updating shareholders.

As PJ correctly stated thats normally due to poor or no performance and a very convenient way of brushing things under the carpet, while drawing large salary and not putting skin in the game.

We must never forget that "time is money", and a 2 year delay only benefits those who draw a large salary without adding much skin.

When we have seen similar type actions with other companies it normally transpires i the fullness of time to be lack of progress or income verses good income but keeping things under wraps.
