RE: decent hires1 Mar 2022 14:55
I've at times held a hell of a lot of OPTI stock, right since the first days before product launches in AUG 16, then we had over 60 deals with worldwide parties announced in loads of RNS'S in 2017 and beyond. Does seem nearly all have failed to generate decent income streams, not a third as predicted.
I did remove some stock following great disappointment with failure to get anywhere near the Goetz broker forecasts which where accepted by OPTI. I actually sold a lot at a loss.
Now here , here we are in feb 2022 with sales last year of 2.2M up from 1.5M.
If we forward jump at the same increase rates we could easily be looking at another 3 years plus, before any real decent numbers start to materialise. Thats when price will move, driven by opti sales.
Sweet is clearly needed as the clock is ticking and well behind plan.
Much more likely is income from SBTX, which is possibly going to grow much faster this year.
This could really be the jewel in the crown for OPTI shareholders as its a free play into what happens at its sibling company.
However don't really want to see the SBTX holding diluted any more as this will really hurt shareholders here when they bring in decent income stream.
Personally I don't like SOH managerial style, think he was a mastermind in setting up the business, but should step down and let others do the CEO role.
