I dont agree with the killing in Ukraine on both sides and I'm not pro Russian either, however I can see Putins views that local ex -Russian countries are now looking to arm up against his country and try to join Nato whereas there was previously an undertaking that they would not. Also Ukraine does have quite a big neo Nazi eminent, as we've seen at football matches etc. This has really added fuel to the hostility fire. Russians don't think the same way as us, as by sending in arms and letting thousands of experienced fighters go into the country to aid Ukraine, they now view the UK as hostile. This could actually make things worse, as it will cause more deaths on both sides, by these use of "fire and forget" one man missiles, which make defending from hidden positions and tunnels much easier and effective, and hard to counter.
