serious question here for knowledgeable investors in this company.
Q. What would low value be if disinvested of all its Russian assets.

Its the lack of suitable explanation that bothers me, toys well and truly out of the pram. If they are responsible board members they should at least offer investor guidance.

Removal of the European board members, may prevent Russian "nationalisation", may actually be a smart move, so Russian and UK links removed...so effectively going neutral.

I dont agree with the killing in Ukraine on both sides and I'm not pro Russian either, however I can see Putins views that local ex -Russian countries are now looking to arm up against his country and try to join Nato whereas there was previously an undertaking that they would not. Also Ukraine does have quite a big neo Nazi eminent, as we've seen at football matches etc. This has really added fuel to the hostility fire. Russians don't think the same way as us, as by sending in arms and letting thousands of experienced fighters go into the country to aid Ukraine, they now view the UK as hostile. This could actually make things worse, as it will cause more deaths on both sides, by these use of "fire and forget" one man missiles, which make defending from hidden positions and tunnels much easier and effective, and hard to counter.

Well it does appear that the war is certainly not going Russia's way with modern weapons and more experienced volunteer troops flooding in from everywhere to use them on the Russian conscripts.
Means Putin will double down, and I expect oil and gas will be stopped next, and while He's now threatening uk. Can see this really getting out of hand with a leader who caught between a rock and a hard place, but restrictive information sharing from Moscow means hes got popular support to increase violence further.

this is good news which can possibly be expanded on..first corridors for evacuations, then hopefully more until ceasefire while talks progressing.
I do have some sympathy for the Russian points of view and also with the Ukrainian people who no one really wants to fight, but want to live in peace. I believe an undertaking of neutrality would be enough.

cant blame anyone for seeking a bargain, especially with the carnage we've all had on all stocks recently. 1st pass investors might think "russian, must be hit hard by the war..however on investigation another story appears, little wonder black rock happy to pay 3 quid odd.

Does seem like a lot of the daily profit taking has finished and an upward trend is continuing. Expect the day traders are more than happy, but feel those that hold will make a hell of a lot more.
One good thing is it appears that the downtrend has bottomed out, and a reversal may just be starting.
One hell of a long way to go, and it wont regain anything like it was, however thats still a long way north from where we currently sit.
One thing that will exacerbate the rise is that every log term holder obtained positions multiple times higher than right now so unlikely to see the normal resistance selling on the way back up, this can lead to faster recovery.

Bound to see some short term selling as may traders will want a quick profit here.. Nothing wrong with that.
However I believe there is some serious money to be made by those with patience to hold longer.

I'm still waiting for an order to be filled at buy at best. Unable to get live quotes on interactive investor. certainly slow.

Is it me or are the MM's allowing larger trades through.

Mr Market hates suspensions, and many Russian companies have already been suspended. However LSE is the primary market for this stock, so it does not quite reach the suspension criteria.
Indeed with big players stopped dealing and only smaller trades going through, it is in effect suspended for the big players.

I advocate only having a small holding here. I have just 1% tied up. Bit like trying to catch the falling knife currently. However the more it drops the higher potential returns become.
Doubt we would be able to trade this stock when peace restored for a few sessions.

Yep I've been guilty in the past of loving my stock, not any more.
Got to look at each stock in its own right right now, forget what you paid for it...thats in the past, and an error many make. Then ask yourself can you really see it going places in 12 months time from now.
If you think by that time sales are going to seriously move the share price stay put or top up. However if you think you can do better elsewhere on the market, move now ..don't delay because time really is money.
Each to their own, buy when you see a low share price, remember "there is always lower".
