Adrian, I’m sure someone could have dropped you off at the hotel it’s only a few minutes from the venue and even closer to the motorway junction which most of us were using.

I have a sipp drawdown and isa with HL. Using their calculator I am actually better off under the new charging structure. I suppose it all depends on number of trades and the value of your pot.

There are probably companies offering lower fees but I have been with HL more than 20 years and very happy with the service.

Brent, I think HEX is a great investment but I am also in GGP. Both have served me well this past year and, I believe, have a tremendous future. Wanting to spread my risk (a little) I am 45% both HEX and GGP with 10% in others. Guess what, well up on HEX & GGP but down on the others!

Bamps, if heavy rain is expected will there be any issue with access? Many years ago I drove around that area quite regularly and there was a a ford fairly close to the pub which regularly flooded. Does it still flood? The map provided by Rotherby takes you through the ford (if it’s still there). In which case would people be safer using Crow Lane?

I am a holder but never post on this bb although I read it every day. I attended the meeting and was absolutely blown away with the knowledge Bamps has on GGP. I came away even more confident in the investment I have in GGP. Thank you Bamps for the time and effort you put into educating shareholders.

Don’t be misled by all the red figures. I topped up this morning @ £261.5 to bring my average down. There are many more red’s showing at that figure and above which could all be buys.

Just about got my head above water there - which is more than I can say here ! hoping things will change one day, to coin the often used phrase in for the long term.

I totally agree with you - it’s got to be one of the worst bb’s on LSE. Never read anywhere else where the green bin features as much as it does there. My LOL referred to you not wanting to talk about it rather than any experience I have regarding GGP.

I also had a wasp experience yesterday. Had one mouthful of beer left in a glass, swigged it down without looking then felt something in my mouth which I spat out and felt immediate pain - it was a wasp which managed to sting both the inside and outside of my lower lip. Was in agony for about two hours. I will never drink from a glass again without checking the contents first.

Anyway, GL all HEX investors. As the heading says 30p this week would be good and will put me on 100% profit.

HL must be monitoring this bb. There were a couple of specific negative comments earlier, including mine, and they have disappeared.

Looks like HL are in a right mess. My account showing original holding and cost but no share price - therefore nil value!

Tom, unless you have a broker who deals on ASX, you will only have the opportunity to buy in the UK.

I am also invested in CCL, which is also dual-listed (UK& USA), and as previously stated, generally the closing price in one market is the opening price in the other.

I use the watchlist facility (top right hand side of page - next to “log out”) which works well for this pensioner!

I see Daily Mail has today devoted almost a full page of Rishi Sunak promoting OBD prostate cure. That should help the share price today.

Certainly look impressive - let’s see how the market reacts this time!
