No need to apologise for mentioning ORR - it needs all the help it can get! Is LTbeliever the guru here? Every board seems to have one. Unfortunately, ORR already has a guru but he could easily be replaced. As for ALB1 hearing a whisper - why not? The usual ton of bricks descended upon him so everything must be OK. Funny how he gets clobbered for being negative AND positive! It smacks of bullying but the perpetrators won't see it that way.
Totally agree the SP is gathering momentum. I'm expecting a takeover but at what price? Must be at least £4 but could be far higher if there are several predators. Is £10 impossible?
Sorry to answer your question so late but my jackpot shares should be obvious from my previous posts but maybe not. Main hope is ZIOC where the management of the Zanaga Project has shifted which should facilitate a takeover at a much higher SP. I'm hoping for 200p and it's 42% of my PF. LOGP is another jackpot share where I'm hoping for 10p but who knows? As for KP2 I'm hoping for 100p but I'm sure I'll be disappointed particularly as the Minister of Mines is giving them a hard time. Not enough brown envelopes! Other jackpots are IIP where the theoretical NAV dwarfs the SP , IES which I think could become a £billion company, GRX which is in line for massive compensation and ORR which could do better than GGP etc. Also invested in RCH which ought to be a 4-bagger as soon as a US predator pounces.
It's a shame ZIOC is off everyone's radar but it remains a binary bet - why did I ever invest in binary bets? TOM is another one and I hope I've got my sums right!
Loved your comment "He'll be dead by then" followed by dai2belts' "Maybe, but he wont have faded away..." Any mathematician would treat AIM with a bargepole yet the rest of us know better!
Please don't tell me to "calm down pal" . I'm sure I've eaten more hot dinners etc. Why do you annoy me so much when we both want ORR to do even better than GGP? While pumpers are far more welcome than dumpers I just wish the fundamentals would speak for themselves except they're currently underground. So thank you for attracting investors' attention to ORR.
Thank you for replying. I'm getting too old for investing in risky shares. With time rapidly running out I don't want to be spending my time researching investment opportunities. Much better for the jackpots I've identified to materialise (including TOM) . Then I can spend the money on "booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."
There's many a slip betwixt cup and lip but I continue to hold in the hope of a 10-bagger after all the dust has settled. Possibly a 100-bagger - who knows? Mr Market continues to take a dim view. 99.9% of the herd have never heard of IIP so it will be interesting to see what happens if they ever arrive.
ALB1, I'm not sure why you find the time to comment but all your posts over the past 30 days are about KP2. You used to post about ZIOC but since it rocketed you haven't said a word! Mentioning "forward selling over the last 5 months" is ridiculous! If the SP goes up are we guilty of "backward buying"?
Always hoping for a re-rate but the price wasn't "ticking upwards with every buy". And I'm sure the MMs weren't "trying to grab stock" but feel free to spout rubbish. I'll admit the 1m buy @ 0.19 is interesting but if that isn't a very late reported buy then the investor needs to challenge his stockbroker. I'm fed up with investing in AIM when every buy is welcome but just try selling! No wonder buyers have deserted AIM. No wonder it's so hard to sell. I'm happy to hold and see if ORR turns into the next GGP or even better - if the SP hits 11p I'm worth £333k. I can imagine most holders will sell long before the SP hits 11p but what if it then hits £1?
Let's hope 2023 is the year ZIOC finally blossoms. Due to most of my other investments, apart from IES and GRX, performing abysmally, ZIOC is currently 42% of my PF so a jackpot will be transformational.
Thank you Crownos for your excellent input. How high can TOM fly with its wings clipped? As you state, a percentage of something is worth a lot more than 100% of nothing. Can anyone quantify TOM's future value? I'm still hoping for a 10-bagger from here but I suppose it all depends on the future price of Oil.
I think you've bitten off more than you can chew! The fundamentals are attractive but the SP history puts the kybosh on any sustained rise. Up and down like a bride's nightie and I'm kicking myself for not selling @ 0.23p and buying back @ 0.17p which is what most ORR investors do. But I'm always afraid of missing out on the inevitable takeover at a far higher price when it eventually arrives.
Yes, I lay in bed that night wondering if I'd typed 2p instead of £2! Very smashed at the time but I'm trying to stop drinking so much as I'm far happier when I'm sober!
Get real! The deals are done long before they're announced! Most of UK plc is well up the creek! It will be a miracle if any small UK companies survive Brexit. And I voted Leave! Hopefully short-term pain for long-term gain but it's not looking great. Brexit only made sense if other countries joined us but their experience of the EU was very different from ours.
Nice buy at the end! Are any of you LTHs also invested in ORR? Do you see any parallels between ORR and GGP? Yeah, I know, how deep is the hole in the ground but all comments welcome!
$282m is a lorra lorra money but will ORR see any benefit? I don't think so. IAMGOLD is selling its interest to a bigger fool. Cameroon is ORR's Last Stand so let's hope for the best! And maybe another bigger fool?
Pleased to see you remain positive Geng. Also interested to see you are a Chartist judging by your comments elsewhere. No further comment! I dunno. Reminds me of the English Civil War for some reason. I rely on my guardian angel with a bit of research to support his claims. Only one jackpot is needed to validate my approach. C'mon ZIOC!
