I will never average down again as it's a mug's game. Much better to take a position and set a stop loss and then move on to a new position. Hopefully you win more often than you lose but if you end up losing every time then give up!

You may well be right but when do you stop throwing good money after bad? I've reached my limit with TWD and I can't see them surviving without a takeover offer. Which will be at the bare minimum or maybe the predator will wait for them to go bankrupt? At which point other predators may appear so it might be wise to buy while stocks last!

Of course I'm hanging in there! 400,000 shares can't be wrong! It's life-changing @ £2 per share but not so much @ £1 per share for me personally. £800k buys me a mediaeval property with land in Suffolk while £400k means I remain renting in an idyllic spot for as long as it lasts.

£3m company sitting on an alleged $261m of emeralds? I bought this morning and paid 2.10 which may or not prove a good investment yet my buy appeared to raise the SP. With 43% of shares N.I.P.H. and very few shares in the first place it looks like the proverbial no-brainer but always be sceptical except the Top Dog is ex-Aquarius Platinum.

Always pleased to see feathers ruffled but all your comments over the last 30 days are about KP2, a company you say you're keen to invest in at the right price. I recall you attempting the same trick with ZIOC but I think you got your timing wrong there or maybe you didn't? If you bought while you were deramping ZIOC then you're now sitting on a decent profit. Which company are you planning to target next as ALB1? Presumably, it's only one of many identities or should that be entities? I picture an opulent office manned 24/7 by people like you working shifts. Please can you put in a good word for me?

And nobody needs to pay stupid money for fashionable footwear. In fact, the tide could turn and fashionable brands are spurned as indicators of undeserved wealth - who knows?

There is no value without customers who can afford to buy! Expect a lot more grief!

But every project has a value during all the stages and I think ZIOC is worth at least 20p at this stage. Mr Market disagrees and most shareholders would hope for more than 20p but a very low offer won't surprise me. Bung ZIOC shareholders the pennies and we can make the pounds!

Up to a point and it's a very good point! I prefer to sit and wait and then lose patience! Sick of reading about buying opportunities while the stock continues to fall - see DOCS. As for RCH, I was hoping for a takeover offer which would be a steal @ the current SP. If I can find a better investment then RCH will be sold and my impatience will be rewarded by an unbelievable takeover offer.

Yes, it is unbelievable , yet I find myself in a similar boat. Obvious lesson: set a stop loss and NEVER average down. I still operate outside those parameters in the hope of a jackpot - more fool me! But in the case of TWD I didn't take up my qualifying shareholder offer and it cost me dearly had I managed to sell at a 50% profit = £460. Small recompense for the £8k I'm down. Still holding not folding but it will take a miracle for TWD to survive.
