"in the offing" is a wonderful phrase! Is a JV likely to happen or appear soon? Do ORR have to report every conversation with larger companies? My biggest fear is a takeover offer at a big premium to the current SP but at a fraction of the true value.

With ORR being very undervalued in the first place, a 10-bagger from here looks conservative. I'm hoping for a 100-bagger but I think I'll be disappointed! As a matter of interest, how many ounces of gold would ORR need to be sitting on to be worth £300m? Bearing in mind a possible rapid rise in the price of gold. The highest price of gold ever recorded was $2,074.88 on August 7, 2020. However, if you adjust for inflation, gold reached its highest price ever in 1980 with an inflation-adjusted price of $2,429.84. I see no reason why gold shouldn't be $3,000. Perfect storm and the minnows usually outperform - keep the faith Kutzz! Wouldn't it be wonderful if ORR was the best-performing gold share of 2023?
Only achievable if every rise isn't sold into but a JV would soon put a stop to that!

Up to a point but the fundamentals are entirely different - I don't recall Bahamas Petroleum being sat on 17bn barrels.
Now renamed Challenger Energy which is idiotic as one investment rule is to sell any company that mentions the word "challenging" in any RNS!

New 52 week low - very depressing. Has the collapse in the SP spooked investors so much they're bailing out on the grounds that someone must know something they don't?

I'm sure the BOD is as frustrated by the current SP as much as everyone else. The current Market is very difficult - good news just sends the SP lower! Something to do with risk on or risk off? I dunno - best to stick to the fundamentals however long it takes. Except, in the long run we're all dead! I'm also invested in PANR where the SP's plunged 85% over the past year despite them sitting on the world's largest onshore oil discovery. The company is baffled but any positive statements they issue is met by a further fall in the SP! Reminds me of Warren Buffett's wise words about only investing in companies you'd be happy to hold if the Stock Market were to be closed for however many years. The gold in Cameroon ain't going anywhere!

At this SP what's the alternative? It's a binary bet which could prove to be extremely profitable. Come on Eileen!

Not sure I totally agree with you but, after delving deeper into your posting history, thanks for alerting me to DEC. What I don't understand is why some REITS yield 12% while others yield a lot less. Obviously, the discount to NAV plays a part and RGL's has recently shrunk but the yield looks fairly safe so why has the SP dropped?

The exercise of warrants may dilute existing shareholders but it provides money for TOM to carry on before asking for more money. Has any AIM company kept paying Directors' wages whatever the cost and still rewarded shareholders?

“Pipeline” in business refers to the process of a system or idea going from an idea in someone’s mind to an actual thing that the business does or sells. Much like a water pipeline, a business pipeline has ideas going from a source (someone’s mind) to their final destination (reality). No wonder TWD are in trouble! Every company has identified sales opportunities - what I'd like to know is how many actual customers TWD currently has?

World's largest onshore oil discovery - 17bn barrels . Company is baffled by Mr Market's response to a minor problem and issues a positive statement which only sends the SP even lower! I'm expecting huge Director buys at this bargain price - if not, Mr Market is right to be suspicious.

I can't see TWD surviving if they can't convert their so-called pipeline of opportunities into actual orders - the problem they have always had. As ever, just one decent contract could be transformational. Except they badly need a lot more than one!

After SGZ plunged 63% yesterday I noticed the RNS mentioned "high gold grades above 10-12g/t". Meanwhile, ORR have found up to 134g/t! I also have a feeling we will be pleasantly surprised fairly soon.

Excellent results! What's not to like? They're doing very well in a sector Investors Chronicle is negative about - see article in last week's issue. WFH frightened investors in Offices but it's not all doom & gloom so isn't it time for a re-rate?

Mr Market is exceedingly slow to catch on to anything so buy now while stocks last! At the same time, AIM shares have been a terrible investment over the past year and speculative money appears to have largely evaporated. I'm expecting a very sharp re-rate, particularly if ORR announces a JV with a major partner who have £billions to invest. 1p by Xmas?

You still don't get it! 9k is also irrelevant! I bailed out of TWD this week with a 97% loss and bunged the proceeds into BSFA which needs to rise 906% to cover my TWD loss. I remain confident.

I eat meat but I'd prefer no animals were harmed and BSFA has the solution:
