Why no momentum? Yesterday punters were prepared to pay 0.363p alongside a supposed US investor investing £97k.

Treacherous waters: yesterday the yield was 7.62% and today the SP plunges 7.9%. Not great for income investors who bought yesterday. No reason why NAV shouldn't fall further.

The recent funding enabled TWD to survive for a few more months. If they continue to fail to gain new contracts it's game over!

Assume 20m ounces of gold in Cameroon (and it could be a lot more!) Also assume $500 profit per ounce (it could be less) but ORR's current SP still looks like a screaming buy! ORR is not a no-brainer but it's certainly a binary bet. Hard to see the price of Gold exploding but no reason why it shouldn't double which would make ORR even more attractive. Apologies if I've done a paid ramper out of his fee.

Always thought a high iron ore price is NOT the time to buy an iron ore mine but who's to say it won't go higher? At the same time, developing Zanaga will take years so the present price of iron ore may well be irrelephant.

Not sure ORR merits MM manipulation! Apparently far more sells than buys today which would explain the current SP. Pleased to see simonthezealot onboard and everyone please note how impatience cost him £500k! I think the most I've lost through impatience is £1.3m! I'm happy for ORR to be taken over at multiples of the current SP but, at the same time, I'd like to see it outperform GGP. It would be very annoying if a £100m takeover offer was accepted only for ORR to be valued at £1bn a few months later.

Pleased to see ZIOC heading in the right direction but a few 1,000,000 share buys would be more exciting! And probably take the SP past 20p.

Please explain further: how were you wrong? If TWD has a future after 66% of existing shareholders shunned buying more shares @ 1p we'd all like to know.

Yeah, you summed it up ! AIM is a minefield . Obviously, timing is everything but trying to get it right can drive you mad!
More profits than losses mean you survive. And I still believe in jackpots despite there not being one as far as I know during all the time I've been an investor. And I'm expecting 6 during 2023!

You perpetuate the myth: "for me to buy someone has to sell eh?" Up to a point but the MMs are the link in between.
Few sellers and many buyers should lead to a rise in the SP and vice versa.

Already spending my ORR jackpot but why not? If it's good enough for Kutzz and hunniford it's good enough for me! If they could arrange a meeting with Iggy Pop (and hopefully a game of golf) I'll be ecstatic. A year from now the ORR SP may well have risen 1000%.

Any qualifying shareholder not offered the chance to buy shares should complain to their stockbroker.

Why was the offer @ 1p instead of 10p? Presumably it was the best deal they could get which smacks of desperation.
Why aren't cash-rich tech companies taking over TWD? I remain invested with an average of 38p - another one bites the dust!

Very strange. Sadly, ZIOC fell 9% this week but who cares? I'm confident that 6 of my 12 holdings will hit the jackpot in 2023.
And then I'll be a millionaire and a half. Most of the money will be invested in property but I'll still dabble in AIM in the hope of making another million.

hunniford - only 1 post over the past 30 days and you decide to grace ORR with your presence! If that isn't a big thumbs up I don't know what is. It's a shame all the true believers can't afford to mop up all the floating shares so a decent rise can occur. And it's also a shame the Directors can't show more faith in their own company. Forget future shares in lieu of salary - how about actually investing in ORR!
