Just for once the wine was worth writing home about: Le Bonheur Marsanne Collines Rhodaniennes 2023 (Waitrose £9.99 and a bargain at that price). It's very rare to find a straight Marsanne - usually it's part of a blend. Not sure about Twat Towers but The beardozer Inn isn't much better! Not even sure I'd keep it as a hotel - it would be fun to live in as a former hotel. Apart from people turning up expecting to be accommodated which could become annoying.

No longer happy with a £1 takeover - now I need £2 after discovering a hotel I want to buy. Fawlty Towers all over again.

I've been keeping the faith for 12 very long years and still find it hard to understand how the SP can be 5p one day and suddenly there's a takeover at marcusg71's £4+. Has this EVER happened in the past? Mr Market is not expecting ANY rise in the SP or surely it would be far higher by now? If Mr Knauth is expecting a decent return on his share options then surely £1m is the minimum which equates to a derisory 66p which is a fraction of ZIOC's true value. I demand at least 100p and can't wait to put the dismal experience of being a ZIOC investor behind me.

Should Mr Knauth expect to be paid £5m for his expertise then the SP needs to be 333p for his 1,500,000 share options to generate that amount which equates to a low valuation of £2bn for ZIOC . I'm sure we'd all be more than happy with 333p! Should Mr Knauth be content with £2.5m for a few weeks of his time then we will end up with 166p which is still beyond my expectations. And the SP is still where it is! What exactly is Mr Market expecting to go wrong?

You make the perfect point about ZIOC NEVER being developed which would explain the current SP.

The claim is for £737m which will be challenged. No idea what interest will be applied. Not expecting a big further rise until after compensation (if any) is awarded. Current Mkt. Cap. £114m so definite upside but how big is big? And if the compensation offer is derisory it will be appealed which means the SP will fall further while lawyers do well.

I think we're all agreed that in ZIOC's case the market is inefficient but we could all be wrong!

Sent the SP up 10% and another 6% the following day and then we get a puncture! Not that the current SP makes any difference to the final outcome except, surely, the lower the current SP the lower the final outcome? There's no reason why ZIOC shares aren't currently 50p - they might as well be if the takeover offer is 100p! I can't get my head around the discrepancy between current Mkt. Cap. and Future Value. I have a horrible feeling we're all skating on very thin ice.

Is that the best MM can come up with? While it's very welcome it's a shame there aren't several more buys of a similar amount to send the SP past 10p. It's about time ZIOC suffered from too much interest rather than too little! And there's a tipping point somewhere north of 10p where excess demand will lead to huge gains as the very few shares in public hands becomes apparent.

Other ORR investors please note. But your comments about recent trades in ORR are nonsensical. You don't know 4 sellers "must have lost money" - there are plenty of investors still sitting on fat profits. Calling sellers "idiots" is a huge no-no and makes all your other points worthless! At the same time, I'm surprised ORR isn't gaining more support after Gold Futures hit $2500.

I rest my case. By my own argument that ZIOC is a binary bet I can't really complain about the SP but logic would indicate it "should" be far higher but WTFDIK? Whatever, we're all fighting like rats over the same biscuit - the question is how many football pitches will it cover? Or countries the size of Wales? GLA!
