extrader: you need to get off your very high horse! integrity is a personal quality of fairness that we all aspire to. you didn't display much of yours when you belittled moneyman64. and your response to his very dignified reply was a pathetic "fair enough". did you think to offer him an apology the same way you think doomanation owes you one?

i was interested to see opti rocket 67% over 3 days this week after favourable press comment which just indicates how ignorant mr market is about all the companies it prices. so how could zioc manage to **** up their mention to a wider audience so badly?

SP down 50% since 1 January which doesn't make any sense on so many levels. As for being a buying opportunity - quite possibly but only if you can disregard the new definition of insanity: repeatedly buying shares in ZIOC in anticipation of a jackpot which is always just over the horizon.

Moneyman64 is not the only shareholder "reluctant to buy more shares as already have a seven figure amount and do not want too many eggs in one basket."

What's wrong with PI's being "typically like children: irritable and quarrelsome"? extrader and MM may be happy to play ping-pong for eternity but some of us have had more than enough! All we want is shareholder value - why is that so difficult?

Thanks for your very informative reply. However, can't the same land be equally attractive to several companies with different plans of action? And therefore different values might be attributed to the same acreage depending on what the plans of action were? Best case scenario: TOM's acreage is worth a lot more than first thought depending on how deep the drill goes. Which also suggests you can have your cake and eat it by extracting from all depths.

Preferably a Zanaga landslide win but will Mr Market wake up before or after? So much has changed yet the SP is where it was many years ago.

No need for apologies! You're bigger than them! What puzzles me is why the endless ramping has done nothing to raise the SP! On the other hand, maybe they're just happy the SP isn't even lower. On the other other hand, GLEN & Elphick paying 5.25p might indicate confidence in the project but WTFDIK? I have to agree with StarBright that "the jet speculation posts are surely the very definition of desperate but baseless ramping..." - both MM and extrader post useless crap 24/7 which indicates several different people are working shifts behind the scenes. ZIOC stinks! Can only agree with Veteran10's dim view - 50p at best. Despite NPV being 18x that. I hope there's an enquiry after the dodgy deal is done and we all get awarded compensation but how many years will that take?

OandGeo: you appear to have far more of a clue than I do! I am unable to answer : "I don't think SM is drilling at sub 2000 ft TVD - do they indicate otherwise?" From that question I infer some acres in Utah are worth far more than others. At the same time, it appears SM Energy had no trouble investing $billions in the Uinta Basin. So what was wrong with TOM's acreage that they failed to attract investment? Or was TOM all about paying Mr Potter almost £5k a week? Reminds me of the definition of a goldmine: a hole in the ground with a liar standing beside it.

How low can it go? Is 0.009 allowed?

I've been reading the QED board which, assuming I understand correctly, mentions SM Energy paying almost $55k per acre for 37,200 acres in the Uinta Basin. Would've thought a fraction of that would be enough to buy TOM, lock, stock & barrel.

I also added more - bonkers SP ought to be at least 20p by now after recent announcements.

Cheap at the price if TOM had flourished but we are seeing the underside. I need a mere 3x to emerge with a profit but I think this is a failed binary bet. Apart from expecting the unexpected!

Very hard to believe you're a regular PI when you only post about ZIOC. On this board and the other one. I can envisage a ZIOC Civil War where everything the company does is wonderful or disastrous! A bit stupid but perfectly possible - obviously I'm with the disastrous side and I know what the wonderful side's response will be: sell up or shut up!

As a matter of fact, I don't drink spirits which must have extended my life. Just finished reading Jah Wobble's autobiography (the expanded edition) in which he claims to have been sober for 28 years yet still attends AA meetings. A fate I have managed to avoid. As for ZIOC - a binary bet all over again and wasn't Mr Market's assessment perfectly correct? Currently need 209p for my ZIOC shares in order to buy my latest dreamhouse. Not impossible - expect the unexpected or it will never happen as Heraclitus almost mumbled in 500BC.
