Meanwhile, this week I sold 26% of my holding in ORR and banked a 131% profit in order to increase my holding in ZIOC by 11% - bought 50,000 shares @ 6.4p which showed as a sell. Surprised KP2's recent surge hasn't led to more interest in ZIOC. As always, you can lead a horse to water etc.

Jiving: Agreed, we don't get to choose the deal price but one takeover offer should unleash at least one more! And if it's a lot higher then Elphick/GLEN can hardly refuse it! Also: both parties are supposed to act in the interests of ALL shareholders and you would think their interests are aligned with ours but WTFDIK?

There's a lot happening in the Gold sector at the moment with CGH currently # 1 Top Riser and GGP also neck-and-neck with ORR lower down the Top Risers. I'm wondering if all those GGP buyers today considered buying ORR instead? If not, why not? Perhaps an ORR investor also invested in GGP could comment?

I was disappointed that extrader ignored my question about what percentage of NPV can be expected as a takeover offer. And nobody else answered the question either! We're all clueless and subject to powerful forces over which we have no control. At the same time, Mr Market continues to think ZIOC has nothing to look forward to while I'm looking forward to proving Mr Market wrong. Meanwhile, two of my other holdings have had a good week: KP2 and ORR. All I need now is for TOM to 100-bag! LOGP and GRX will take care of themselves and deliver in due course. Job done.

Back to the drawing-board but even without a takeover offer the SP still looks very undervalued.

I've spent 12 years invested in ZIOC and it's always been my largest investment.

Surely the risk is the same whether the company is listed or unlisted? Maybe not - at least an unlisted company can't delist and crash the SP!

I hope TOM rises from the ashes as I've become very attached to my acres in Utah. As must every other shareholder. This is a real company with real assets - don't let the snakecharmers fool you otherwise!

being a zioc shareholder appears to be driving me insane but **** happens! i'm sure you have your finger on all the necessary buttons so please tell us what percentage of npv we can expect zanaga to be sold for? what have other iron ore projects sold for? atm i think my investment is going to be a huge disappointment or beyond my wildest dreams. i feel bad about introducing my son into becoming a zioc shareholder but he's heard me talk about it for the past 10 years and he's not stupid (and can afford to lose his entire investment). mr market currently sees zero upside.

I'm not sure anyone understands the Lanstead deal - and that includes Lanstead! I presume it's in their interest to suppress the SP by selling shares in order to keep their payments over 0.2533p as low as possible but what happens if they don't sell their shares? As I understand it, if the SP multibagged they receive no benefit and it could prove extremely expensive! Alternatively, what happens after they've sold all their shares long before the end of the agreement? Presumably the SP would've rocketed long before in anticipation? The next GGP with added rocket power? I dunno!

Have previous Lanstead deals been with dead ducks and suddenly, they've signed a deal with a swan? Very tempted to double my holding - who needs to own acres in Utah except the upside there is equally compelling.

the sp was up 1.73% today in anticipation! very unexciting times or the sp would be far higher but other shareholders disagree despite knowing how it usually works. they can't all be paid rampers, surely? can you be a paid wishful thinker? why shouldn't the sp be at least 20p by now if the future's brighter? at the same time, what difference would it make? **** all? i note aal rejected bhp's offer which they'll almost certainly increase. elphick + glen still need a mighty kick up the **** before any of us long-suffering lths will ever see any value. and it better be worth the long wait when it finally arrives! i've just lost the house of my dreams due to the lack of a modest jackpot - a £2 takeover would've been enough to enable me to buy it. i'm gutted yet unsurprised. bits dated back to the 12th century - you can't find a house like that every day of the week. gone very retro - currently listening to korn from the 1990s. reminds me of my old dad listening to nat king cole while i was pink floyd's biggest fan in 1967. i lost interest after they dumped syd barrett.
