I've changed my mind about the arch now and assume that "bridging solutions" is the railway arch.

Same old same old. Keep waiting. Some great results from GSCALE testing (concrete and tyres). Worried everything's gone quiet on the arch. Only mention now is, "Infrastructure bridging solutions in course of development using knowledge gained from rail arch."

Got to be happy with that.

The only thing I can think of is that it's on as a hedge and so they would leave it on as a part of their strategy. Still doesn't make a lot of sense. They'd need a similar delcaration on the long side to be breaking even. One would think they would review the trade.

Really happy with that! You can always have more but $8M over the expected figure at the last trading update which wasn't very long ago shows strong momentum. Net positive cash is great. These will be revenues earned for products IQE's customers will be including in their current short term outlook statements and anyone who follows Sweenoid on ADVFN will know they've all been predicting record increases in revenue going into next year. 2021 should be good :-)

I share your frustration on the speed of progress draft. It's a very small company. I suppose they only have the resources to pursue so many products at any one time. For what it's worth I'm very excited about the tree shelters. I don't think anyone else is working in that area. Assuming this next test is passed it's a huge market that BIOM could monopolise.

I searched around when Luminar went public in December and for Mobileye. Unfortunately this is not a VCSEL based LIDAR solution so no read across to IQE. I think they're struggling to hit the promised $1,000 per vehicle price point which should be doable with VCSELs and it uses a lot of power. So there are drawbacks depite the hype.

Yeah sorry draft. I could see announcing a mask providing a hype based sp jump but that's about it. I just think there are so many companies making masks now with every large customer will have existing contracts with supliers coupled with the fact it would take ages and cost lots of money to develop that they wouldn't get something competitive to market before COVID has passed. Versarien is a case in point. They've brougt out probably the most effective mask outside of a respirator. It's anti-viral and anti-bacterial, reusable and fully N95 certified. For all that it's pretty expensive. There's no evidence yet they're selling many but I will admit we haven't had a proper trading update since they were released.

I feel like this is becoming a window into the real Internet.

Unfortunately the technology industry is plagued by patent trolls as well as patent thieves so I have some sympathy for the comments. Most people don't pay close attention or care much about these things BBD.

Interesting read across with the Basel III rules that were being discussed. They are designed to prevent the too big to fails of this world from failing. Rising gold prices shouldn't bring down systemically important trading houses anymore or something's going wrong. Very interesting that the rules on precious metals are changing (effectively being relaxed) going into version III. Referencing Eddie Geroge's comment if the same conditions are in place there really is a rabbit hole here.

I'd like to know how long the phase 2 test lasts and then plans for commercialisation.

Feels like it might break out over 75p this time.
