Just watched the interview. The main point that struck me was that she was talking about already arranging phase 2 of the RCX004 trials. I can't recall whether stage 1 is blind or not and just proving safety with no analysis for efficacy. If it's not blind she seems to be confirming that so far safety looks good and maybe efficacy too. Or, could just be her manner of speach and there's nothing to conclude.

Trek, I think it's wait and see with Basel 3. The environment maybe changing significantly for PMs but there is nothing compelling financial insitutions to act. New conditions will influence prices over time. How much time, no idea.

Tickled by your Y2k comment. I too worked that week and got some quite extreme hourly rates. It was a damp squib, However, in the three years prior we did thousands of hours of analysis; and made hundreds of infrastructure and code code changes. I'm not saying you're doing this but it amuses me when out in the wider world I hear people saying we don't need to worry about this or that crisis because it reminds me of Y2k. Y2k was thoroughly and extensively prepared for.

Where does it say masks Warren? Looks like a lab based rapid results testing kit unless I've missed something. It's the kind of test I would expect quantum dots can enhance but far too early given the announced project time table. Maybe for a future iteration of the product.

Concur with ddubya just on the basis that we've been round this road twice now. STM must have known when they were buying before signing the contract. It only makes me a little bit more confident though. Not much. Another plus is that technology interest is going mental at the moment. Expecting to be picking up more contracts rather than dropping them in this environment. Even if they're ridiculous bubble based nonsense such as a toilet that can display the full colour gamut at 1000 nits peak brightness.

Samsung said they were charging too much and went their own way. Dow reset to R&D mode with NANO working on next gen hoping to get back into the market then. Those next gens are coming round now so maybe they'll fire up again. No evidence of that happening though.
