So that ties in perfectly with some admittedly wild theorising on here after the interims were published. I noted that where they say, "Our R&D efforts in sensing materials also continued throughout the Period. We are now able to offer different material sets and also new materials that are capable of absorbing much longer wavelengths of infrared light at specifically targeted bands such as 1,400 nm, 1,550 nm and 1,800 nm." It matched IQE's new longer wavelength VCSELS that can be used build under screen sensors.
A sensor using those VCSELS enhanced with nano particles would be an amazing peice of kit. I'm sure it will come down to cost of production as to whether we see such a thing. It's all there on page 31 though.
