His comment at the end of the interview follwing the announcement of the new composite that we could be making an awful lot of money in I think it was 6 months time was certainly eyebrow raising. If we get it into a commercial product in that timeline and can supply meaningful quantities it will be the quickest announcement to commercialisation time period I've ever encountered. If it does happen it will speak volumes as to the capabilities of the company. We'll be looking at many 10s of market cap. I'll be sceptical until it's impacting the bottom line though.

@fairdealer20, yep invested. Not sure I agree that believing in multiples of current market cap can be construed as negative. My view on the graphene side of the business is tempered by previous experience investing in companies working in emerging technologies and graphene itself. Focus firmly on graphite from me in the near and medium term. Hope to be proven wrong.

I know the buzz is for the aluminium wire but the company justifies multiples of the current market cap based on the graphite business alone. On the wire, it'll be years before anything comes of it or until the company can even produce meaningful quantities of graphene IMO.

They guided the surprise last year though with two unscheduled trading updates. There hasn't been any of those this time.

Will be interesting to see if new products start to come through. The way they are introducing them now should be higher margin.

FWIW there hasn't been any updates recently so my guess is that the update will be in line with the last outlook statement. Slightly disappointing and the SP will stay in this range. It could tick up though if the outlook statement in this update confirms that wireless revenues will pick up again toward the end of the year as expected.

Very nice! Probably a slip in the article and that information shouldn't be in the public domain rather than a missing RNA from TGR though.

It's been a little muted on here recently. Justifiably so after the bump in the road signalled in the last update. Nice piece on GaN in TechRadar today though. It heralds the next revolution in power electronics bringing hugely improved performance at lower cost, operating over greater temperatures and will be key to meeting net zero carbon emmission targets.

NANO definitely aren't one of the semi conductor firms because they aren't one. My bet would be IQE or one of IQE's customers using IQE compound semiconductor technology. STMicro might well be bringing the nano-particles to the party though under license from NANO.

There is also this, "Other good news? NANO announced that their particles on sensors can now detect wavelengths of light long enough to place sensors under screens. They are the only company to have announced such a feat using nano particles. That screams to me that this is NANO's collaboration with STMicro!

However, despite that, the timing and STMicro's involvement my gut reaction is that NANO are not involved. Maybe just been let down too many times in the past.

It's a demonstration project that used Versarian's graphene. Your point is correct AquaeSulis01, it can be tailored so Concretene doesn't automatically = nanene.

That's tremendous. Let's hope we start seeing lots of concretene used throughout industry. I didn't quite believe the line in the original article about not including steel, well maybe for flooring, but if we're talking about a concrete that can be used in all sorts of 3 dimensional structures without steel reinforcing as NR says it's truly bonkers.

I've read the line now, "We can tailor the approach to any supplier's Graphene." So, retract the comment about properties. Even more hopeful.

Cautiously optimistic. Everyone produces different graphene at different costs so it'll depend on whether properties and costs meet Nationwide Engineering's requirements. Hoping with fingers crossed to see confirmation of orders from VRS or an impact on revenue.
