Interesting and no I hadn’t seen that before
CSR is important and though it doesn’t always positively correlate with SP the management being able to build a sustainable business must in the long term pay off. Like you I welcome a chance to pick up some more as felt I’d been left behind by recent appreciation in SP which I’d not expected to continue so far ahead of announcement on 7/11

If it goes back to £4 I may pick up a few more but knowing it’s a big risk

I’m going to keep my powder dry and see how it opens Monday but my problem is I can’t easily average down from here if it goes higher and still think it’s a punt ahead of 7/11 announcement plus I’m now holding for long term as am a lousy teaser and don’t have level 2

Just seen O trade buy 475,000 SP has reacted

Good to see the shares back up near £10 but no clear idea how things will go long term as I’ve seen criticism of the STJ charging model and the recent profit downturn seems to have dropped the shares into a lower range but I’m a long term holder so will read the comments carry on taking the dividend and hope for capital appreciation

And Theborn calls the ball and we close at 410 as you predicted but still a gain is a gain ??

I’d like that as feel I could justify one more bite close to £4 and then try to hold my nerve as long as possible Will be watching the “O” and “UT” trades at close for large amounts

Putting things in perspective though PFG is only just at a one month high and three months ago it was £5 so I’m imagining best case is a saw tooth upward move or maybe it’ll spike if a) Directors buy ahead of embargoed period pre announcement or b) an institution senses it’s now or never to get a bargain but I’m now too close to my average to pursue the weighting down strategy and just have to decide if I want to risk more for a larger but uncertain upside or smaller nearer term hit and it’s always that dilemma that haunts any small investor who simply can’t take a very long term view on a share or sector

No sorry but ifinstitutions holdings cross thresholds we normally see RNS in several days so wait and see I guess

Interesting I saw a lot of small buyers in the morning as well so maybe private investors are starting to support the share and if enough do the price may find support at current level and push on though I’ve no confidence in its trajectory or stability until some concrete news comes out to support recovery in SP

No it’s something that’d I’d had in the long distant past as used to trade on CFDs but nowadays my trades are small and infrequent so I just have the basic real-time price package on ADVFN
Might be helpful I agree to get a sense of where things are going though as PFG easing back after lots of small selling as far as I can see though a good day by recent standards
