Interesting thought as it’s no secret that Bisichi has seen a fall in demand from traditional markets and softening of price of coal. The 42% stake if sold would provide a useful cash injection I guess. I followed you over to this board from NSF where I have a holding as you were spot on with your timing on Vertu and have put LAS on my watch sheet but am heavily invested in RDSB currently where I’ve seen a good return so have to be careful about spreading myself too thin. Used to trade a lot in my youth but now older, not wiser sadly but more cautious!

My thought too Nomad1 that Saudi held cuts in place comfortable in the knowledge things would be different under Biden as opposed to Trump and that shale production won’t rush in to fill the supply gap
By the way I’m sure you intended to write a trillion after the dollar sign but to be honest I struggle with that large a figure albeit I think Apple is actually worth around that amount ?
Hope this stimulates RDSB as Americans fill up their fuel oil tanks and cars with the money from their stimulus checks

Great to see £15 and I’ve no idea where this’ll be in 2 months let alone 2 years as I didn’t see £15 coming so soon but I think once dividends start to climb off back of some free cashflow and debt reduction then Boyobach’s relationship between OP and SP will probably re rate and I’d not bet against your SP forecast. I’d be ecstatic at £18-£20 in next 12m and am scrambling to get as much cash together as I can to buy more shares as we speak

AGL71 the 2019 accounts say NAV per share 43p which if holds is a multiple of SP but spread is pretty crazy though not I suppose if shares spike
Accounts run to 78 pages so I’m going to find a wet towel to wrap around my head. Doing well on RDSB which is other extreme but really hoping NSF pops which will depend on FCA review outcome of course

Hi Nomad1 yes I’m looking at Brent and RDSB now 1492 so could indeed be testing 1500 today GLA

There is no ownership connection but I gather some who post here invest in AMGO and vice versa
Though in the same sector there are differences in risk profile and prospects that I shall allow others to comment on but you may have read some recent comments about those. I am not nor have been an investor in ZANGO but have a holding in NSF I recently slightly increased. I missed out on the sale and buyback opportunity but decided not to risk exiting and have a small enough stake to risk running for the long term. Good luck

US fall may not hit commodities as hard though as NASDAQ overpriced and tech weighs heavily on Dow
That said it’s hard to see the logic for a run up in short term despite Brent futures being up 3.9% as I write this

As I’m holding longer term I’ll buy on any dip but your point about events coming after the close is a goos spot and if money goes into Bloomberg $ it might start to soften OP

In a small way and got timing slightly wrong paying 7.2 while 100,000 purchaser got in marginally over 7.00 but my average at 6.5 is support level

It’s the relative price rather than the move that’s significant
NSF offer price now is 2.5 x what it was on 15 Feb and AMGO about the same multiple- just so happens NSF came up from 3 and AMGO from 7 to 7.7 and 16.5 respectively
There are more AMGO shares in issue at 480m v 330m but that doesn’t really matter as it’s float that determines movement on buying or selling but for what it’s worth I’m a big fan of NSF ans would love to see it back at 60p

Looks as though price being knocked this afternoon which I’m happy about as was looking to buy below 8.00 and May now be able to closer to 7.00 just a bit miffed I didn’t take 8.80 but didn’t have enough shares to risk coming out and it carrying on up. Worse problems to have as was sitting on a loss when they were 3.43 offered only a week ago

I don’t disagree with you about the dividend but RDSB will want to pay down its debt quite sharply from any free cashflow generated before hiking the dividends and also from a strategic perspective it’s better to steadily increment than risk overdoing and then either cutting again or putting investment on hold. The company has a very challenging transition plan to execute and its a long game but I’m sure they’ll want to bring investors with them so will do what they can to boost the payout subject to their other strategic priorities. IMHO GLA
