DGR1980 I am pleased you got in at the low level as I had used up most of my spare cash when it got down there unfortunately

I've just re computed my average to 1367 having bought a modest 125 shares today at 1210 so may soon run out of options to average down but at least there's the prospect of some decent dividends going forward if the company gets back on its feet - think there will still be some bumps in the road ahead by maybe OPEC+ will be accommodative if they can see green shoots as the vaccine rolls out next year? GLA DYOR

Hopefully things will get back to normal after vaccine euphoria subsides and volume of posts normalise towards what the servers can accommodate

The underlying improvement tallies with increased in dividend - it will be interesting to test the assumption- might be non linear for significant moves in OP or positive developments elsewhere eg in Sino US trade should a certain Joe move into the White House

Nice SP move now 966 just a pity OP has no reason to recover or I’d be expecting £10 to be tested but the dividend policy statement and Q3 performance seems to have lifted sentiment

Boyobach the SP seems to be feeling a bit more robust since the results announced or maybe it’s my wishful thinking but I was pleasantly surprised by the upward move in SP after watching oil futures sink over the weekend

A few canny RDSB investors will have done a nice trade between 850 and 950 over the past few sessions I’m thinking

Though unless I’m mistaken shares can’t be issued at discount to NV so 5p is minimum?
It will of course dilute the upside price move by virtue of there being more shares in issue to divide earning and pay dividends

Given Brent futures down 3% I think SP move is positive on back of results

Boyobach would probably correct me from the charts but I’m feeling a bit better today having watched in horror as my out of the money position widened after absorbing news of lockdown in EU and effect on OP

A dividend cut isn’t beyond the bounds of Covid vaccine doesn’t arrive in Q1 with lockdowns in Europe and cases spiralling in US OP falling with Brent sub $40 adding to pain so could see 850 as early as today but agree unless world ending in which case it doesn’t matter buying at these levels if you can afford to is indicated maybe on further dips

If dividend doesn’t hold all bets are off but 850 will be tested this week and SP will fall through it easily if any shocks in results

I’m not buying until I see results
If shares rise they’ll probably fall back but in this market the mood music is they may fall further if only short term
