I agree with you Biker: "no massive spike needed".
I failed to collect a single penny on the last UFO spike, October 2020 . . . but seeing it happen made me reckless and I sold up UFO and lost the lot on stupid choices.
I'm back with less, and quite right Biker, a "steady rise", a zig zag upwards, would be perfect.

4th day of the week and the 4th good day for UFO shares.
Is the wind changing in our favour? Each tiny rise in the share price suggests a change is gonna come.

Istie, thanks for the sunshineprofits.com link, I like their simple way of explaining things. In a nutshell, they seem to believe the silver market it just too big to be held down. If they're right, silvermine owner UFO has the chance to do very well when silver moves up.
But for now, come on iron ore.

Thanks CJ, good to hear from Kitco that silver hit a 6-month high yesterday. It seemed to wear out at about $22.2 per oz, but what a good run it had.

Good news if interest rate rises do slow down.
I'm looking at gold up 1%, palladium 2%, platinum 3% and Silver 4%.
I'm interested in why silver is making the best moves upwards at the moment? If the big money holding down the silver price is never going to let it go, why are people putting their money on it today?

Interesting that silver has led gold recently, whereas it used to be the other way round. Today silver has risen 5x more than gold, 2.5% up compared to gold's 0.5%.

Thanks for the info Tacet, it makes sense that the recent very fast drop in the dollar will be corrected in the next few months, leading to a slower fall round about Feb.
If that's the case, I can wait, and a lot of Aliens more patient than me will not mind a few more months of waiting for fair winds.
As for the war in Ukraine, I can't believe it got started and can't believe it's still going on. Madness.

And the silver price is holding up today, I would love to see it reach $22/oz by Friday, that would be a fab end to a fab week.

I don't get all the ins and outs, but I know when the dollar goes down, everything else goes up. American Federal Reserve is speaking about the economy today and on Friday the state of the US jobs market will be announced: both announcements will push the dollar up or down, worth keeping an eye on them.

Nice for management and investors to raise a glass with the share price up 15% this week. Good timing for a drink

I agree 5x5 and Max, it's a strange time for Artemis to sell . . . but sometimes when you're strapped for cash, you just have to cash in, sensible or not.
