The government has a £120B funding gap.
They will start to play nicer with the O&G industry as they see them as pivotal to plugging this.
Some easing is coming....just a case of best time to announce without rattling the public.

Can I have a glass of whatever your drinking?
Diversification???
I am sure we will receive a positive trading update next week.
A lot of calculations on this board assume a steady volumetric production rate.
There is no factor in these calculations for unplanned export losses (export equipment failure, platform trips, etc).
Production calculations should include a Production Efficiency factor, which differs across assets (and can be impacted by equipment redundancy, age of asset, weather, etc).
I doubt any of us knows the PE factors for HBR assets (correct me if I am wrong).
