You could be correct, but given the odd behaviour of the BoD, who is to guess that this type of rip off will not happen again as & when it suits them ?
Remember they were heavily backed by the Woodford/Barnett combo until recently and those two haven't made much profit for their investors for quite a while, have they ?
Also do bear in mind that the nav of unquoted, often loss making EIS companies is difficult to prove. We saw what happened to Woodford's unquoteds when they were sold, did any get sold at or above their valuations ?

WRT the floods, other side of the coin is how many of their properties suffered that could be well renovated much less expensively than usual with some of the cash coming in from insurance claims ? A longer term picture than next results though, of course, but possibly something in the medium term, plus business interruption policy paying out as well, hopefully ?
I don't have many Mars properties where I live (London) but some I have seen in the Midlands , South West and Wales were very variable, some really nice but others begging for an upgrade. It is always best, imo, in having a certain level which you come to expect across a chain to encourage repeat visits.

I thought Zambian beer was made by SA Breweries and it was a rather stronger version of Castle ?
Nevertheless if you've been swigging it back for 16 years you must know, my experience of the nectar was in a game lodge just outside Kampala and I completely under estimated the strength of the beer being served (this bottle(s) was definitely SAB) but hells bells, was it powerful !
Did you ever try Namibian brewed Windhoek when in Africa, that is a truly splendid drink served as draught ? Very available in S Africa and is made with desalinated water, exquisite stuff, you take me down memory lane...

I agree with Trent in that you have raised good points.
Having driven past the farmhouse/registered office on my way to the station each morning for about 8 years whilst living in E Sussex some while ago I am the first to acknowledge that it, and the other addresses shown previously, look very odd places to house a rather grand sounding consultancy for the licensed trade.
I noticed that the same organisation had quite a large article in the Scottish section of the Times this week, same issue but this time the brewer was Heineken, Edinbught trading standards were involved, I mention this as an indication that we may well have this or similar tales as background noise for a while yet.

I agree that there are various unanswered questions here and certainly I doubt if we have the full agenda, but as you say RF's response seemed a cut & paste job which I had hoped would have been fuller.
Still, we are where we are and the price is easing up so let us hope we see 130 again soon !

Just to remind you, it was only 5 months ago, 2nd September ,with the stock in single figures you were suggesting it would be taken over at between £17.50 & £20.
Yet apparently shamelessly you carry on the "pump n dump".
Can you recall drawing our attention to "Merlin announced a new Legoland to be built in Sichuan in 2023" on 27 September as a "strong buy" with stock then at sub £9 ?

Yes there was, hence I DM'd you, tricky to put on the board but you have always been very open as to what your thoughts are and I wanted to return the compliment, however, make that phone call on Monday that I suggested and see what you think.
