Am I thinking of having a punt, yes, but what continues to bother me is the total lack of information from the BOD, which coupled with no "buyers" following through, indicates to me that there is something lurking somewhere which is a negative. I hope I'm wrong, but there must be a reason for the total lack of news and a continually dropping share price.
The mood music is not very encouraging, is it ?

Brain dead BOD sounds an understatement now, can you believe that the price is sub 450p and still no announcement ?
No wonder any take over interest came to nothing.
This board is a total disgrace, and a very highly paid disgrace at that.

Certainly an encouraging update on the face of it, be interesting to see what the market makes of it this morning....

I agree, so much so that I dribbled a few more shares in today....
The management seems very sound, debt reduction is a good but belated move and UK centric stocks should do well in this current climate.

I have to say I was impressed with RF's speedy response, I have emailed him several times with queries re debt etc and each time he responds in a very timely fashion.
By the speed and comments he made on this query I judged that he was very well aware and was all over it like a rash, he does give the impression of being very much in control which is good for shareholders.

Already RF has replied, if you message me in my inbox I'm quite happy to fwd you his respomse but he is quite adamant that ;

Sediment in beer and wastage are 2 of the things taken into account in a lease
There are no consequences/ramifications across the industry due to this particular award
Anderson, tenant in question, has entered into 2 MRO deals & the PCA has confirmed the matter is closed (MRO, PCA ?)
MARS were not fined or sanctioned in this case, or any other.

I have today sent a link of the "true cost of a pint" article to Ralph Findlay asking him if;
1 Is he aware of the publicity
2 Is it likely to affect our profits &
3 Should there be an RNS if the answer to 2 is yes

I have to say that if this issue is really so serious why has there been no RNS ?
Is it not perhaps possible that the unhappy tenants have a sympathetic journalist in their pocket ?
If it is as serious as implied then surely the entire board are in breach of their fiduciary responsibilities ? Oddly the financial press have yet to pick this up, maybe we should just wait to see if it really is as serious as it is mooted to be ?

Well any hope that this over rated tub of lard would be saved by Invesco once Woodford had fled has now evaporated with Invesco's stake today sub 3%.
So the board have bought a vct manager on a very generous basis, just when vct's are running into headwinds/subdued performance with the new rules & financed it with shares offered at a huge discount to a few selected "friends" in the City, most of whom have probably been sellers whilst ignoring the PI's, that's the way to run a business.... not !
